Character Return?

This is more of a question for Doshii and Wes and those guys. I've been asked to get together a character to help with the running of the Fort Ready plot.

My question is whether there would be any problem with my bringing this guy back as an instructor. He would've been working multiple jobs both working as a power armor operator or pilot since the dissolution of the Yggdrasil, and I figure a steady job like teaching at Ft. Ready would appeal to him. I have no problem with creating a new character, but this guy is already well set to work the job, and he's definitely experienced enough at this point, though not military.
