RP: Lorath Colonial Bug Out

With a communication sent out by the Matriarchy, announcing their intent to render aid to the United Outer Colonies, a flurry of activity took place within the ranks of the Lorath Self Defense Force, and within the civilian population of the Lorath Matriarchy. Ships, thousands of ships, were mobilized at an order which was handed down from the High Priest, at the moment in which it was decided that the UOC was simply too vulnerable, vulnerable to the point in which the Yamatai Empire was simply able to claim them by mere words.

Volunteers made a rapid surge in activity, eager to help their Colonial neighbors, eager to return the favor which was so graciously carried out for them in the past. Civilian pilots rallied their ships at designated locations, where larger ships with powerful engines could carry them within a hyperfold field. Military transports were the first to truly mobilize though, as they carried priority volunteer personnel, as well as civilian and military equipment to the Jiyuu system, for the purpose of establishing a base of operations, as well as the rapid construction of temporary housing for refugee personnel.

Shipping routes were temporarily shut down, or reduced in runs to provide a greater number of ships for the effort, as the ships intended to defend the Nyli system were put on high alert, watching for any sign of the NMX which could possibly choose such a moment to make their move. Other ships which were left on an open-ended assignment, were rounded up to be taken to Jiyuu, that even included a number of the massive Wh'ki and Nu'Fei yards which the Matriarchy used for forward operations, much like they had during the Occhestian offensive.

Within the span of a few hours, the first military-sponsored ships made their departure and arrival in the Jiyuu system, and with every passing hour, more civilian ships made their departure to the Jiyuu system.

Hours Later - Jiyuu System - Tokyo

Since the Tange revolt, there had been a Matriarchy presence in the Jiyuu system, helping the Peacekeeper Forces, and the civilians present in the process of rebuilding after the chaos which had taken place in the system during the communications blackout which had seized the UOC as a whole. This Lorath presence was the first to be mobilized, as landing areas were cleared, and security was established in the space above, and the ground of the planet, as Lorath Matriarchy ships surged into the space of the system, and went about setting down upon the capital of the fallen nation.

Colony ships plunged through the atmosphere, surplus carriers, and various other ships came down as well, setting down and unloading supplies and equipment, which Matriarchy ground personnel went about deploying to establish a base of humanitarian operations. Other ships which came down, began to unload mobile L-Mark-Two units, which were placed throughout the area to establish a defense perimeter. Once assets were unloaded, the ships took off once again to begin to gather at a staging point, preparing for the moment in which they would practically scatter, heading to each planet which had been held by the United Outer Colonies.

As support ships prepared, military ships began to establish a patrol perimeter, and began to split off into squadrons which would be sent to escort the immense number of ships moving to each system. Aiding in this effort was the remainder of the Peacekeeper Forces present in the Jiyuu system, as they took on the task of ensuring the locals were safe, as well as loaning a number of escorts and carriers to the effort, with the intent of ensuring the safe return of priority transport ships.

Elsewhere, In The United Outer Colonies

Multitudes of incoming subspace signals could easily be detected, seemingly indicating massive ship movements as Lorath Self Defense Force ships closed in upon the UOC's civilian populated systems. As they dropped out of FTL, the subspace signals could be easily seen as a ruse, though, their numbers were still formidable as fighters and bombers streaked through the space of each system, checking over planetary bodies for settlements, cross checking with available MIKO data. Landing zones were designated, while personnel were delivered through the use of Longboat craft. Ground operations were put underway, ensuring that landing zones would not be compromised on the ground.

In systems sat upon the border of the UOC's space, where the NMX were quite active, there were some notable scuffles between Lorath Self Defense Force assets, and NMX assets which were in the area. Though, aided by their swift arrival, the Lorath were able to assert their dominance, at the loss of a negligible number of ships, as they either destroyed, or ran the NMX forces out of the systems they pushed into. Though, anyone in the LSDF knew, that those groups of NMX were just there to look around, they were a sign of what was to come, that much was for sure.
