20 rounds is enough for an auto-shotgun to do what it needs to do. Sure, it might be wasting ammunition to some degree, but what's more important — the operator surviving an engagement he might otherwise lose, or conserving ammunition? It'd be up to the individual to decide that, but having the option can't hurt.
