Diet Coke and Mentos really do explode :P

I know its well known but my friends and I tried it, not thinking it would work. We dropped in about 6 Mentos into a two-liter bottle of Diet Coke and it erupted about 10 feet off the ground.

One thing... we were about 20 feet below a POWER LINE. If I get 4 liters and a smaller opening on a bottle, we could aim and hit the line and short-circut everyone in a mile radius XD

I think I've seen this before, I've heard so many stories about it and I've yet to try it myself.

haha that looks a little painful. I'm going to have to try this experiment again but duct tape a funnel on the top for a thinner, taller stream. And double the mentos.

Indeed. Two stage dental removal.

Stage one: Hit your mouth which a stream of liquid equipped with high kinetic force.
Stage two: Use coke. Burns the teeth it does.
