River waved to the armor that looked to her, smiling into her helmet as she forgot that the helmet was there. With a mutter she looked back to the blacklisted screen and sighed. If they were in that condition for profiles, they had to be good pilots. Then again, nothing but the best for the Prime Minister she mused to herself.

As she waited for the group to take off, she made sure to run through a check of her systems and suit, wanting to make sure for the tenth time that the suit was good to go. It was more to brush aside her nervousness and own growing apprehension. What with the Claustrophobia closing in on her now, she had to try to keep her breathing steady.

I think I like how yours looks better. Ayumi sent a text only message to River, not that her own Tenshi didn't have a certain charm that made her feel like she was back in the service. It felt very nostalgic to be back in one of the suits, even if the intent was well meaning.

The representative was having less trouble with the suit than she thought her luck would curry, and was slowly growing on their nation's first major military armour. "Still ready." The blonde Jiyuuian chimed in calmly, hoping they'd have a chance to talk and not just be there to make the PM and the military look like they had a lot of adjutants. It wouldn't be their fault if they did, she imagined. Her opinion of either was in fact very high.

I feel like every week brings more death we have to jump heel 'n head over into.. Mochizuki thought to herself with a pang about how many lives were estimated lost, and what it could mean for the rest of the east.

"I am good, Ms. Rina. Let's get on to visit the Abwehrans, it seems everyone else is ready so we can get going." Ayana said finally after a long moment's pause and consideration. She looked at the other Tenshis holding her Assembly members with the hope that including more bodies wouldn't be a mistake like it had been at the International Peace Summit.

"So long as the safety and well-being of our citizens are met, I would be willing to let someone else negotiate the non-aggression treaty but I will be giving my input in support of things as needed. So please, don't be afraid to not speak out as the negotiations get rolling."

Rina nodded. The escorts will accompany you, they are the best I could get on short notice. She said to Ayana her eyes flitting to the three. She then patted Ayana's helmet, nodded curtly to the other Assembly members, and then left the bay.

Over the comm her voice came back in the bay. "If you are all ready launch."

The Winter model is on sale by the Matriarchy I believe. Please do not quote me but it does not hurt to inquire I suppose. And thank you for the compliment. River sent back in a text only message, Looking to the assembly member that had sent it.

She heard the call of course and nodded, keying up her mic for a moment. "Ready whenever everyone else is." She said in reply to the question as she stretched a little in her suit. Waiting to launch, she went ahead and went over the information they knew about this race so she could get a quick refresher.

Smiling in a friendly manner, the Warrant Officer lead the armored woman towards the ship's elevator. It would take only a few moments for the duo to arrive on the first deck, where the elevator opened up into a lavishly decorated dining area. It was on the level of what one would find in a five-star restaurant rather than a small transport.

Most of the tables were round with table clothes of gold-embroidered purple and various vases of different flora to decorate them. A large bar dominated the central area of the dining area while the obvious entrance to the kitchen could be found towards the ship's starboard.

"The delegations will meet here if that is alright. Don't worry, we don't expect a business dinner. It was decided that this was the most comfortable place to hold the meeting." Freja explained. "After all, Small Transports don't hold meeting rooms for government delegations."

Ayana nodded as she flexed her hands inside of the Tenshi armor again. [i"]Everyone seems ready enough, let's get this over with and get over there and get this hashed out. We don't have the luxury of time to keep this from advancing forward any longer, Rina."[/i].

"Let's get this show on the road, folks! Ready to launch, Rina!" The Prime Minister tried to smile to reassure herself that this was a good idea to do herself instead of just sending her diplomats out to handle it. The presence of the escort did something to ease her mind against most misgivings but she would never be able to forgive herself if her naivety in these matters lead to an outbreak on Jiyuu.

The Ayana's Yamataium bay doors opened the forcefields shimmering into place to keep the bay pressurized. A notification to the Abwehran vessel had been sent, notifying them of the delegation's arrival.

Conformation from the bridge came down to Ayana as the three escorts took up positions around the party. "You are a go for launch, I repeat you are a go for launch." The MIKO's voice echoed into their helmets.

Ayana took a deep breathe as her MIKO counted down the launch sequence and launched her Tenshi from the bay of the vessel named in her honor, into the cold vacuum of space between their vessel and the Abwehrans'. Being out in the void in a suit of power armor, even for few seconds was wondrous and frightening to the Prime Minister; after all, hadn't she spent all of her life with her feet firmly planted on good, toiled earth?

It's amazing how a few minutes can feel like an eternity, Ayana wondered to herself as she followed her escorts towards the other vessel. I really hope that this procedure isn't necessary but, you can never be too careful with a race that accidentally caused a plague... but then again... our heritage makes us just as bad as them if not worst, despite what we have done in the recent past.

Ayumi followed after, and tightened up the formation as far as her part was concerned once she got a better handle of the Tenshi's control. That wasn't before her armour spun a bit in space, but the occasion was somber and she had to be sensitive to it. Tightening her stomach, the representative fought the urge to be more acrobatic in her nation's hallmark power armour.

What would a military Winter like that run me? She sent to River, assuming they wouldn't endorse giving a politician something a peacemaker might have better use of (a Tenshi') just so she could relive her old soldiering days.

I hope there is a way to do something...

River sighed as the order to go was given, her own armor shooting out of the bay. Much like Ayumi, River wasn't the best in the world when it came to handling her own armor, and she began to list a little. Such a problem was fixed with a quick manuals and handling download from the Matriarchy network.

Unfortunately, we are unable to sell Military grade weapons and technology to civilians. There are a list of steps you would have to go through to even get permission to buy, which includes a interview, training and tests, and a few other things. River sent back to Ayumi, a touch of regret in her voice. She only had the suit she did because she was a Lorath, and the representative of her race. She had to make the tech look good after all.

Shinichi followed wordlessly behind the others, finding the Tenshi to be somewhat comfortable. Today is a good day. the Yamataian thought positively as he launched from the ship. I am certain we can help these people, and build a positive image for ourselves with them. Although Shinichi had no clue how to do any of what he thought about, he was sure that with the help of everyone else that was present, they would succeed.

((OOC: My apologies for the lateness.))

"Oberstabsfeldwebel," a masculine voice came over the ship intercom. "The Delegation is arriving," the pilot informed his superior.

"Understood," Freja replied before looking towards Roxanne. "If you will pardon me, Frauline, I must greet your delegation at the airlock. You are free to either come with me or stay here," she explained with a smile before heading back to the elevator. Whether Roxanne came with her or not, the spacer would head back down to the cargo hold and to the airlock system. Fixing her helmet upon her head and locking it in place, Freja would open the outer airlock hatch and activate the navigation lights so that their visitors would find the entryway easily enough.

Shinichi saw the navigation lights and awkwardly managed to set his armor down in the designated area. I'm not sure I'll ever get used to this thing. Shinichi thought as he wondered how the Peacekeepers could so easily manuever in the same equipment.

Ayana felt her anxiety grow as she saw the flashing lights of the outer airlock of the Abwehran vessel. She navigated her Tenshi towards it and tried to feel reassured that Rina had sent with them a escort squad in the event that something went wrong. She hoped that while they were doing this, that nothing else disastrous occurred on Jiyuu or in the surrounding space.

"I can't wait to get out of this... nothingness. I don't know how people can stand this... lack of gravity... control... things to keep them from drifting off into... uh, there's the airlock. Let's go!" Ayana muttered more to herself than to everyone else on their comm channel as she hurried on her way towards the somewhat safer shelter than the Abwehran ship offered from space in general.

"Uhh..try to keep it in formation. Don't worry the void won't bite'cha." Ayumi piped up, trying to make someone she quickly remembered wasn't probably the sort who grew up with space everywhere and therefore might have been having her first time out in anything less confined than a shuttle. "It'll be all right. Just think of their ship as forward, and ours as backwards and that you're all swimming, if anyone else's got a problem. Keep your eyes on the other side of the pool, huh?"

This had given her a little time to mull over what their friendly neighborhood Lorath had sent her. Really? I would think I'd be one of the people those folks'd want to impress with their military engineering? How unfortunate. I did used to be a solider once upon a time, you think that'd help any? She replied in another friendly way to River. At least things were getting easier with the Tenshi, but it had been years since she'd been in one. It felt a little liberating and nostalgic all the same, so it couldn't hurt to have an extra armour lying around for her own personal...readiness right?

"Believe me, I have no intention of going exploring today... this just seems to be taking longer than I thought it would," Ayana said uncertainly as she finally could almost reach out and touch the other ship. "Just towards the light, I guess?"

"Judging from how my subordinate boarded the vessel yes, Prime Minister." Rina's voice pipped into Ayana's helmet. The woman was monitoring the group through their own power armors, and keeping in constant contact with their escorts.

The Fleet Admiral sat in her command chair, leg crossed over the other as she kept a watchful eye on her charges.

Ayana felt reassured by Rina's confirmation that they were travelling in the right direction as she found her way to the rear of the airlock, the front of her Tenshi suddenly bathed in the soft glow of the Abwehran ship. "Finally! Do we knock or just go in?"

As the diplomatic team entered the airlock, Freja peered through the window with her helmeted head before giving the foreigners a 'hold' hand signal. True, they probably wouldn't have understood it, but training was kicking in at the moment. Closing the outer airlock doors, the Warrant Officer began the decontamination procedures that she had put through their vanguard.

Moments later, the inner airlock hatch would open up into the small transport's cargo hold. Removing her own helmet, the Warrant Officer gave the team a salute that would have made drill instructors happy...at least for the one nanosecond they were normally happy. "Welcome aboard," she greeted with heavily accented Trade. "Your Frauline Caldwell is currently in the ship's lounge where you will be meeting the delegation," the female soldier explained calmly and even in a friendly manner. "I will escort you there. I assume you will stay in your suits until it is clear that we are not a biological threat?"
