Discrepencies between NH22C and NH series Nekos

They will receive a warning that the scans are harmful to NH series weapons and will be given a chance to leave.

From talking with Tyler I have come to understand that this is due to a 'self destruct' code of sorts that is inherent in the NH series of weapons that is triggered when it is scanned at a genetic level. What confuses me is why the NH-22C(Yamataian) is missing this vaporize code(and thus able to enter Neplesia at will). From what I understand, the Yamataian has almost the same features as nearly all of the NH series weapons(save for specialized features such as SLICS, SPINE, and psionic capabilities) and is in fact based off of the NH series itself. From what Tyler and I talked about the code is to prevent anyone from finding out the genetic structure of the Nekovalkyrja(seems reasonable I guess) and was possibly put in place by PNUGen.

I guess my main question is, since the Yamataian also possesses almost identical abilities, albeit at a reduced functionality, and are based off of the NH series themselves(genetically), why are they missing this link? It seems reasonable to me that if the marker were indeed put in there to discourage competition or even the enemy finding better ways to kill NH's then why allow the 22C to create a vulnerability for the whole series(or at least the models up to that point)? After all, it wouldn't be too hard or unreasonable to take the Yamataian's genetic code and reverse engineer Nekos indirectly that way(again barring specialized systems) would it?

Would someone explain to me why this is then?

Note: I have no doubt that there is a valid explanation, I just wasn't here back when the 22C came around, and thus haven't heard this discussion. It should also be noted that I am not upset or mad or anything like that, just curious. If this offends someone let me know via PM and I will try and work it out with you(or remove the post).

NH-18 and later models don't have this feature as it came to be considered a weakness.

That makes sense(Yoroko throws away new tech weapon idea for neps). Thanks! But here is my last question, what happens when a NH29 is scanned by Nep scanners? Nothing(other than, hey this is a neko!!!)?

Nothing. The NH-29 doesn't have vulnerability to deep genetic scans of any sort. Even the barcode still present on them is there more for medical reference than a need to 'control' them.

You have to understand that the yamataians are pretty much considered civilians instead of weapons. In the same fashion, the NH-29 was created so to not only be a nekovalkyrja with toned down combat capabilities, but also once which could spearhead the idea of the nekovalkyrja being a 'race' instead of a weapon. Yes, in yamataian culture, the neko are better soldiers, but more in the fashion of a warrior caste than a servitor specie.
