DOGA Links and Render Art

Re: DOGA Render Art

Are you using existing polygon structures, or making your own?

Re: DOGA Render Art

Doga has pre-fabricated polygonal structures.

You assemble them a bit like lego, only there's no collision so parts can pass through eachother which is useful.

Re: DOGA Render Art

Huge STV is huge.

The Light Utility Truck (new art!) can actually fit on an STV:

Re: DOGA Render Art

I was looking through my old DOGA renders today (salvaging stuff I can use for my nation in another space RP I do) and found this. I've never used it for anything, and thought that it was kind of neat. Maybe I'll stat it up as a SARP civilian/merc vessel (I think that's what I designed it for in the first place).

Missile Frigate

Re: DOGA Render Art

Very Nice Raz...though personally, Frigates are too small for long missile battles. It could work against pirates or as a raider against civilian commerce, but it could never beat a real Escort.

Re: DOGA Render Art

I decided to upload my favorite DOGA renders to an old album that I remembered the password to. Link.

Nice Kai, kinda reminds me of an Imperial Star Destroyer. I dunno why, but I always imagined Chiharu's being kinda.....large (kinda like this Boxfish). Barring my outlandish ideas for a ship design, it's a great design. Good job.

I couldn't find a good Chiharu pic, but this has a side view of my original drawing.

Ah. quite a bit different from my interpretation of the "appearance" section in it's wiki. Also, I just guessed with all the weapons emplacements, seeing as none of it had any clarification.

I'll probably continue snooping through the wiki for ships without any art and see what I can do for making models of them. Vacation gives me lots of free time.
