Approved Character Eaazran Cortez

Eaazran

Inactive Member
Maybe i have articulated bad ^^ English is still my second language.

So, i have changed it a bit, i hope it is ok now.

Name:Eaazran Cortez

General Information
Species:Geshrin
Gender:Male
Age:27

Family/Creators:
Some wired Yamatai scientists

Faction:
The Empire of Nepleslia
Occupation:General Infantry
Rank: Soldier 1st Class
Current Assignment: ---

Physical Characteristics
Height: 217cm ( 7.02")
Weight: 94kg ( 207lbs )

Build and Skin Color: He is a well built man with an weather-beaten face. He has a normal skin color, maybe a bit darker than normal.[/b]
Face and Eye Color: Most green and some yellow spots
Hair color and Style: Black with very thin grey strings. The most time he keeps his hair very short, because it is better for combat.

Distinguishing Features: A part of his left ear was ripped out by something...maybe a animal or something. Some ugly scars from bullets or various close combat waepons mark his otherwise so well formed skin.

Psychological Characteristics
Personality: Eaazran thinks of himself, that he is a true warrior. Maybe because the meaning of his life was always to fight. Fighting people, armys or empires. Eaazran was a smart young man who tried to get the bottom of things, but the years of war and
death around him, changed his personality. The man, he is today, has resigned. The only place which he can call "home" is the battelfield, only here he can break throug his artificial coma and become a real living human again. He know about his status as a Geshrin and calls the Yamataian a "failure". He has nothing left for those, in his eyes weak and decadent creatures. He´s proud to be an Geshrin but in secret, he begrude the original Nepleslians about their free birth.

Likes: A good and fair fight, Nepleslian women, alcohol of any kind ( it yust needs to burn )
Dislikes: indiscipline, The Yamataian, dirty and honorless battles, naive guys or phillosophs who ask him about his life or people who write books over the "romantic beings as a soldier"
Goals: Goals? He give up that a long time ago....just survive or die in battle would be fine.

History

In the past, Eaazran want to be a soldier in the Yamaitan starforce, but he had some bad notes...one of them was the one, that he couldn´t stop to ge the bottom of things. He often disagreed with the methods and idiologies of the Yamatai and one day, he spoke out in public, what he thougt about the Yamatai and that they send more and more Nekovalkyrja into death. Due to this, his career ends before it really begun. So, he joined the army of Nepleslian but only as a low level soldier...

Skills:

Communication: Eaazran is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, ships, ground vehicles, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Your character is fluent in English. He can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. The character is skilled in field communications and is proficient in all rudimentary forms of communication (hand signals, flashing lights, etc).

Fighting and Physical: Eaazran received intensive hand-to-hand combat training (primarily focused on disabling and/or killing opponents) and has followed up that knowledge with a rigorous training program. Weapons he is trained in include pistols of all types, knives, grenades (and other forms of explosive weaponry) and rifles of all kinds. Eaazran can repair weaponry with adequate tools and time. Eaazran is in excellent physical shape and has considerable endurance.

Survival: Eaazran knows how to survive in hostile environments. He can build shelters, hunt and forage for food, build a fire, etc. He can camouflage himself and is familiar with guerrilla warfare tactics.

Strategy (Tactics/discipline): Eaazran understand and give out tactical commands and work with his troop to follow those commands efficiently. Eaazran knows the importance of teamwork on the battlefield, has been intensively trained in discipline and morale, and is able to recognize the command structure even while under extreme pressure (combat, etc). Eaazran is able to recognize ambush points. He knows basic math in order to calculate distances, etc, and can use a tactical map.

Vehicles: ( As a part of his training, Eaazran can handle basic ground units like jeeps, troop transporter or a light/scout tank. He is not very familiar with Mechas ( because his first choice is always a close-combat power armor ) or hovercraft/aircraft .

Technology Operation ( In his travel from battelfield to battelfield, he learned some about computer and ship systems. Nothing special but basic stuff like how to use a computer and some applications. )

Humanities ( Sure, Eaazran is a rude and arrogant person, but he has his personal code of honor. As example, he would never shoot on unarmed or civilians ( even if that means that he must deny a command), he will never pillage, plunder or flee from a duell or battelfield ( except tactical retreat ). Maybe he is not the bravest men, but what is a man without honor?)

Ok , i take care of the edit button next time 😉

Well then, can some official-guy sign my char or are they any wrong things left? ^^;

I still think a Geshrin in the NSA is improbable, but there are bound to be some anyway. The fact he hates the NH-22C model I think adds validity to it though. (Since the Empire has many, and Nepleslia none) If his desire was to escape the NH series of beings Nepleslia sure would be a start. Reflected by the treaty, of course.

Nekos will be burninated!

But seriously, I dig the character.

I'm the Nepleslian GM guy, but not sure if I can approve your character.

Er, aren't you going to finish your skills?

There are characters who have had significant experiences before the start of the roleplay - particularly older characters who have been in military service, considering the astounding number of wars that managed to happen in these 28 years.

The point is that you shouldn't make characters old or experienced to begin with, but as long as it doesn't have too much bearing on the RP, then it's all right. It's not a big deal, and the character is good. Nice job.

*yawn* I understand your conviction, as I said, Thad. I just disagree with it. I do agree histories should not try to change the established history of the site. I dont agree that characters should be young/inexperienced all the time. Some of the most fascinating to play are those with many things from the past affecting their decisions.

I disagree with that, it is infinintely more entertaining to have role played out your character's past from as close to the begining as possible. Doing so even improves your roleplay down the line because you have an in depth understanding of the events which have shaped your character.

One example of many,

"My mother died in an explotion," That is probably all you'd have from a history that was written but a history that has been role played could have much more depth.

"My mothed died in an explotion, but it was far from an accident. I was involved with busness with people who were willing to go a lot further than I was and my mother and her maid who was at the house at the time paid the price. I don't even know who actually did it much less who ordered it but there was really only one organisation that stood to gain from her death."

Actual Role Play is far better. It also helps guide where your character is going to go next.

I can understand you part ( i was gamemaster for some pen and paper games and online-rpg´s ) but i think it is the same "fun" to play a character with a belief ( or something like that ). Ah well i have not much time ... ( i am at work ^^ ).

But hey, if it that char make some problems or so...i can make a standard-youngstar. I dont want that Eaazran is the reason for any fight ^^

heh, all I want is a Yes from Wes so I can integrate this fine soldier into the Nepleslian army.

What's the verdict?

That is about as much discription as you will get from characters with a written history where with characters which have an actual history will preform much better in RP.

Character approved.
