Personality: Choice of aliases aside, Emily Ann can only be described as a sexual sadist. Sex and pain are more than simply mental and physical cousins; they equate to the same sensations. Only the interpretation is different, and interpretation can be learned. Her "part-time work" as an assassin, rather than a mere by-product, is a way of exploring her interpretations and furthering her understanding of how the body functions.
Her title at the Colesium, "Empress of Snow," is just as much about her dress as her way of interacting with others. She is generally friendly in a business-like way, but depending on how well one deals with her, she slowly grows colder and meaner, until "the snow is above the last frigid hairs on your head."

History
Emily Ann left her parents' house when she was in her late teens. Her father was a tailor of fine clothes for Nepleslian celebrities; her mother took care of the business side. When she left, her parents told her she always had a home to come back to. In school, she had displayed a minor talent as a messuse ("I always ended the term with high marks") and a major talent as a swimmer. Thus, while she had no formal training, she took what she knew of the human body and put it to work as a prostitute, despite her mother's insistence whores didn't make much. She was very good at ... exploring what made the human body do things, though her customers were often unhappy with being treated as lab rats.
How she came to be a cold-blooded killer is unknown.
