SACN Encrypted Communication to Motoyoshi Mayumi

I'm not sure if my old communications channel with the UOC still works, but here goes:

I've designed a new vessel for the use of the UOC...though I am Star Army personnel still, I still wish for the success of the nation which I saw born.

The ship is named the Asuka-class, after the Nozomi-class UCS Asuka which I used to command. It is designed as a fast first responder to small/medium scale tragedies, can have the role of an escort or scout, and includes a modular technology similar in concept to the Sakura Enhancement Module I designed. It's meant to be a versatile workhorse which can be updated with hardware as the mission demands.

Also included are designs for several VEM modules which can be used with the Asuka.

I made sure one of the stipulations of my return to the Star Army was that I could still develop for MFY as well as KFY...the Asuka-class has only been sent to you.

"What do you make of this?" Mayumi said, handing the datapad over to Miho to read.

Miho read over the message and shook her head, "So...Tell me where exactly there is security in accepting designs from a traitor?"

Mayumi shrugged, leaning back in her chair, "Well obviously his superiors have a copy of the design, and likely any weak points have already been uploaded to PANTHEON. I say we accept it, produce a small number of them fully knowing that the design will already be available in their system. If he stabs us in the back, we know where his daughter is..."

Miho grinned, her hand caressing the side of Mayumi's face. "Too bad we didn't kill him when we had the chance."

Mayumi said, leaning into Miho's touch. "We will...someday."
