[EU] A war hungry nation seeking for more? Also: Pirates

The usual intro came to life, although this time with a school of fish oddly on fire swimming in space.

"It wasn't so long ago that the Mishhu, whom the Star Empire of Yamatai have been fighting for years, vanished shortly after the Pisces conference. Almost every single Mishhu disappeared, leaving a war ready empire suddenly without a enemy. Perhaps this is beginning to show." Began the female as the chibi-anime-ish simply smiled all cat like. ( :3 )

"The Star Army", The female began again, putting a good amount of empathis on the italicized words, "Of Yamatai has issued the population known as "Freespacers" to be a enemy of the Empire." The woman frowned a little, clearly not to pleased with this statement, "The Crown Prince, having a reputation of being against military involvement, seems to be attempting to talk down his mother from any sort of hostile action. Although there is no definite source of this, and it could be false." The expression seemed skeptical, though, on this statement. Mainly the it being false part.

The chibi anime-ish 'girl' on the monitor began now in her usual light, lower-than-a-shrill voice, "Reports indicate that the Second and Third defense fleets have left their posts for a operation. Already pirate raids have tripled in the areas they usually defend, and everyone is to be on high alert. Even people on planets, as there are reports of destroyed wrecks dangerously falling into planetary atmosphere on worlds. The pirates are, though, attacking cargo freighters and passenger ships for the most part only. There are still ships defending the sector, although with the defense fleets gone apparently the intimidation that all kept pirates at bay has vanished completely."

"In other, similarly grave news." The woman began again, the chibi apparently done, "Halna has been marked as a severally damaged structure not fit for habitation. Although it isn't required to be immediate, evacuation will occur over the next month or so as people leave the moon. Several people are crying for Yamatai to fix the damages they caused, although the majority seems to have shunned the Star Empire all together. Nearly all of the population of Halna seems to be going to Nepleslia, or at least that is where they will be going. Relief crews are no longer necessary, as the moon is stable. For the moment." She seemed to finish and took a sip of the glass of water nearby.

The chibi spoke once more, though, flailing her arms above herself in a happy way, "And now for a guest speaker, Johnathon Wells! Please note speaker's views do not necessarily share the views of this station, this is his own announcement to the galaxy and not in any way, other then broadcast median, have ties to us." Of course the usual clause came. It was a service the station provided.

The view would shift to a man standing tall in a brown/tan tuxedo, looking Nepleslian in bloodline and fully human. He could be said to be somewhat handsome, really. "Spacers..." He began, referring to the culture and not Freespacers, "And people of the universe and general. Assist your Freespacer kin in anyway you can against this... Madness Yamatai has inflicted on them. However, do not fire upon Yamatai. Especially do not fire upon its citizens, as they have no involvement in this matter and to sacrifice them makes us no better. The Star army thrives on combat, it is what they seem to have this lust for. Murder and war. Don't let them fill this need, as there requirement for it is a bottomless pit." He clicked his tongue again before sighing. "I imagine, though, that many Spacers and traders in general will cease, or at least slow trade and relations with Yamatai in response to the horrors on Halna... That is probably one of the safest things for you to do."

The screen would flash out with a message, "This broadcast does not share the views of the EU. We are only a median to relay this message, as a service we provide." It was always attached to other people's broadcast, just in case. Although usually the broadcasts are for advertisement or political things.
