Can you add a bit more to the article?

How many pulses can it fire during an operation? Once a day? One every minute? Three every seconds?

While I may know what EMP stands for and does, others might not. Could you either link it or explain it? What 'shields' things from the effects of EMP?

Why is 100km short range? Shouldn't it vary based on altitude?

Range was more or less arbitrarily chosen as 100km, that is virtually nothing in space and on the ground it is enough to black out a decently sized area (Which makes sense for SDR 2 worth of EMP). Yeah the range would vary based on a variety of conditions but we don't really get that in depth with range nor do we have really good range guidelines (we still use top speed for spaceships -,- )
