Misato announced "Akuro, let all ships know we are leaving first thing in the morning." Aye Taisho the AI whispered.

Katsuko answered Caine's communication, "Caine, I am honored you finally have accepted. I will message you once I am settled on Yamatai." she paused a momment and then said, "Take care of my daughter." ending the communication.

Katsuko and Ayana boarded the shuttle and headed to the surface.

OOC: Kim and I will separate off into a separate thread now. Torshiro and Tyler might be wise to let your crew's spend a few hours in Kyoto before we head back to Jiyuu. It could be their last chance. I will have mission details up for both your groups this weekend.

Ember remained with the Sky Marshall, hoping that she might get a chance to talk to him more, should he be willing to continue their discussion.

Upon the departure of the new Empress, Yaichiro bowed, then bowed to the new Taisho. Upon their dismissal, Yaichiro began to return to the YSS Akigumo, issuing a message.

"Mission Complete, shore leave in Kyoto until we leave first thing tomorrow. Tange Misato-Taisho is now in control of the 5th XF while Motoyoshi-sama remains to rule on Jiyuu.

Prepare for landing procedures upon my arrival."


Yaichiro realized the last time he was in Kyoto, he only had 3000 KS to his name...now he had better then 3.5 million KS. It may have been time to shop for something...but what?

Davis had been dealing with quite a bit of new information lately.

His face concrete, Davis looked to Ember.

"I am happy for the ascension of your new Empress," he stated quickly. "However, I would like to request an audience with her at the earliest possible time. The Nepleslian people have certain demands..."

Ember nodded, "Of course, Mr. Davis. Would you mind if I escorted you back to your vessel? I know you have a lot to do right now that should be resolved before we establish our trade relations." She tried to hide her disappointment but truly, the nation came before all else. "I'll try to schedule the meeting within the next day or so, I'll discuss it with Motoyoshi-sama immediately."

"Please do so," Davis replied as he was escorted to his ship. "A dire situation has presented itself, and it needs to be addressed."

With that, he was off to his homeworld.

Ember watched the Premier's ship depart a little longingly. The weight of the recent revelations weighed heavily on her conscious and her heart. She had lost family in the plague... everyone had. She felt betrayed and disillusioned by it all. But worst of all, she suddenly regretted upgrading herself but she knew it was still way too late to go back and change things.

"I hope the next time I see Robert, we won't be enemies," she said very quietly to herself as she turned and walked away. There was work to do.. but how could they even fathom how to make it right?
