First attempt at making a firearm

just an off the cuff idea for a beastly looking weapon.

That's a rather large barrel, and a rather small handle. It would seem one would need a good grip on that thing to keep it steady.

Give me two of those and point me at the enemy.

There is a round - it's a plasma weapon.

Plasma is a super-heated gas, not electromagnetic energy. As such you'd normally keep your gas in some form of round.

On the other hand you can use the gas in the barrel, but this requires some form of compression before firing.

Ok doing a little thinking and research (Phbbbt artist not an engineer) The desigh would work better as a kind of revolver holding 10 charges of plasma around a capasitor batery. The large barell would be a magnetic accelerator that directed the blast into a directable shot. The onl;y drawback would be range.

I still wanna go with the flashy, loud, high damage motif though.

I was thinking like modern revolvers and pistols there would be a few handle styles to suit different shooters. Theres "woman's" frames on some, larger ones, left or right handed, ambidexterous.

No I am dead tired of watching everything i put up there get picked apart. I realy cant stand the idea that "everyghing we havent seen must be 2 minuets old" It's really depressing the hell out of me as far as the SARP goes. Maybe later but for now all my sketches and drawings are on hold untill this corp/ship thing is resolved.
