Kyoto, Yamatai -- In a joint announcement by the commander of the Star Army of Yamatai, Mistress-Taisho Ketsurui Yui, and Her Imperial Majesty Himiko, Empress of Yamatai, Sovereign of the Yamatai Star Systems, the Elysian Celestial Empire, Gashmere, Ohara, Essia, Shurista, Jaspis, and the Outer Colonies, and many territories, the Empire is entering a state of war against our old enemy, the vile Mishhuvurthyar. In a special press conference, the government shared this declaration:
Whereas,
1) The Mishhuvurthyar, corrupted by the Dark Ones calling themselves the Umbral, have been sworn enemies of our people in the past, and have twice waged surprise attacks against us, and violated peace treaties of the past made at the International Relations Conference of YE 30, resulting in horrific wars and deaths of thousands of Yamataians.
2) This year, the Mishhuvurthyar conducted numerous attacks on the YSS Wakaba, a Star Army ship, and conducted a major attack on the Star Army of Yamatai's Second Fleet in response to a peaceful rescue mission for the Wakaba, refusing all attempts at peaceful resolution.
Recognizing that the Sfarabla Mishhuvurthyar Nougfit has made unprovoked acts of war against the Star Army of Yamatai, and the Yamatai Star Empire, and to ensure the prosperity and security of Yamatai and its protected suzerains, Therefore we resolve, by the power and authority invested in us by the Constitution of the Yamatai Star Empire, that:
1) A State of War now exists between the Yamatai Star Empire and the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Nougpift and its military allies,
2) Commanders of the Fleets, Organizations, and Bases of Star Army of Yamatai and the Yamatai Empire's various planetary defense forces are authorized to utilize their full resources to make war against the Mishhuvurthyar whereever they are found throughout the Kagami Galaxy.
3) We also request that all resources of the Imperial government are pledged to the same.
