Hand held 'rocket' weapons?

I was looking at the Nepleslian firearms and was wondering why there were no hand held explosive weapons (Didn't check every one of them so I could be mistaken). Though the weapons I've seen make weapons like the RPG just a burden as well as a hazard to the wielder, it would be fun to blow a hole in an enemy building after you lost your power armor ^^

I understand if they are a redundant weapon but I kinda made one a bit different from others (I can't seem to find the weapons creation page and I'll probably forget about this while looking for it so I'll just put it here for now XD )

The rocket is propelled out of the tube and moves toward the target. The tip and body of the explosive is, well an explosive, and the back is the fuel that keeps the rocket going. Between the two are two thick durable metals that can survive the initial explosion. Now between the sheets of metal is a shield unit designed to withstand and contain the explosion. When the rocket hits its objective (or whatever else it happens to hit) the shield pops on in a dome covering the explosion efficiently focusing it forward, restricting the radius but nearly doubling the damage. The explosion is ether closed off and super heated (if it hits something flat like a wall and has no openings due to the shield) or it explodes in a shotgun like fashion (If it hits something not flat like another missile and has an opening forward)

Again, the above is just a reminder to myself until I find where to put new weapon ideas and where the format is. I am a very forgetful Person XD

Well, I guess the main questions are:
1. Why are there no hand held 'rocket launchers'
2. Where do I put weapon ideas
3. What is the standard weapons format?

1) Origin just made a rocket launcher that can be hand-held, though it is very large and somewhat cumbersome, having been designed initially to be mounted to vehicles, or used as a stationary platform.

2) Ideas are usually linked to the List of unapproved concepts, or on the page of the company that is going to produce them if they're approved.

3) As for standard weapons templates- there are none. With the huge variety of weapons and weapon types available, no one template is suitable to all of them, so you either have to find an article of something similar to what you have, or just make one up.

Still this is a neat idea, and could have its uses.

Origin Industries, My company, is always looking for good ideas and can make such things as this, and there's generally someone around to help. Myself, and CadetNewb are more or less in charge of Origin, so coming to either of us with ideas could be nice.

Origin Industries huh? Looked it up and saw it mainly made defensive weaponry. The missile that I made was originally made for only offensive purposes, but now that I think about it a bit more, it IS a weapon made for a contained explosion and maybe that would be better used as a defensive ammunition. If you like, you can have the idea (as I have no character that would actually make something like this). I put the basic idea here. Though it is only the basic idea of it, I'll try and fill in the weapon it was originally designed to fit. You can discard it or use it as you see fit ^^

Most weaponry is offensive. Even when used defensively. The name is Origin Defense Manufacturing because it has a nice ring to it and sounds more friendly.

As for that page... well, it seems obvious that SARP needs better Wiki tutorials.

Is it really that bad? Hmm... I blame the wiki and possibly (but not likely) myself as I have not even attempting to read the "how to do things" XD

haha, it's okay. nobody's perfect at the Wiki first try. Minor things can screw up the formatting.

Just tried my link and found it didn't work, was that what you meant by "needs better tutorial"? Lol, fixed it though so it should work fine if that was the problem XD

See? I knew I wasn't the only one who can't use the wiki XP

Anyway, I kinda forgot about this weapon I was making after that one day. I subscribe, I post, and I still forget to finish the weapon! Well, if that keeps happening, just say, "You better finish the weapon you were creating or (random treat here)" I take no offense to anything and if I do, just quote this post

(The "no offense" post only applies to this topic)

See that? It's called... err... fine print? Now fear my imaginary lawyers, they 12% of the time win my cases! XD

Now did you know Neps had such cool weapons, @Gunhand4171? Because I'm sure you did know and just never mentioned how cool their weaponry really was because you thought I "only like Neko and Iroma" or something!
