Finished up the basic part.

Will be doing up her history soon.

Himeya Irenika "Nika"

Question: Could I get to put my avatar picture on the wiki website?

Any mod going to take a quick look for errors and stuff?

Thanks.

Whoa! Finally someone from Asia, just across the Causeway too!

The image below shows the button that adds images. Though, due to copyright reasons, you can only use original images as your character art. You can get those by drawing them yourself or commissioning an artist to do it for you. (Though I might be misunderstanding the question...)

I'm not a character reviewer, but you might want to fill up your character's pre-RP history. It's completely blank there.

Welcome to the SARP!

Enjoy your stay...

Fian is spot on about the image stuff. Only original artwork da yo.

1. I can't approve this without a little history on the character. It doesn't have to be much -- a couple of paragraphs will do -- but you must at least say something about her family, and explain why she is now Nekovalkyrja, after spending most of her life in a "citizen" model body. We've seen a couple characters come through that started life as Yamataians and then became Neko -- a change that's culturally considered incredibly strange, at least on the surface, but could also be a changing of racial paradigm.

Basically, Neko are a war model created in a lab; Yamataians were originally in another body, but are now in a more robust citizen body. Neko are second-class citizens in several ways, but are a kind of "race" distinct from Nekovalkyrja. Some Neko have given up that heritage to become Yamataian, in order to live life as a civilian (for whatever the reason), but a Yamataian becoming a Nekovalkyrja is uncharted territory, when it comes to canon. We haven't had a character really explore what that means. You could be the first.

It should also explain her love of history.

2. No "Terra" or Earth in this setting. Please nix those.

3. There's a device she can use for her digital diary, if she so wishes, or she can store that info in her computerized brain, as Yamataians and Nekovalkyrja have that feature. I'll PM the maker of the device to reply here with a wiki link ... as I can't remember what it is.

4. Can she speak Yamataian?

This character is pending. The submitter must address the list of edits above, then notify the reviewer when the character is ready for a second review.

Hello neighbour Fian!

Also, thanks for the feedback Doshii Jun. :geek:

Added the history part, though I hope its enough information.

Fixed those items that you proposed and she's ready for a 2nd review.

Will be writing up more on strengthening the reasons why she insisted on a Nekovalkyrja instead of a new Yamatain body. That I will put it up once I got the points organized.

A rare muscular degenerative disorder isn't possible inside the android body of a Yamataian, so this one's a no-go.

Just go with a Yamataian body, or make up a fresh Neko, please.

I had assumed that humans born before YE01 are original biologicak humans, not clones or andriods.

If that's the case, I'll revamp the history section.

EDIT: Done with it, will PM you as well.

You've elongated the history, instead of making it more concise, and added elements that cannot be approved, such as this strange gel and pillar.

Part of what you must understand is that medical science at this stage of the game is extreme. Lost all your limbs? They'll grow you new ones. Suffered a fatal accident? ST'd into a new body. Cut along your arm? In a Yamataian body, it heals up itself within an hour.

Yamataian citizens have a very strong element of immortality when it comes to their existence. You seem to acknowledge that, having to create strange plot points just to damage the character enough to get her in a Neko body.

Yet, it still wouldn't work — she'd just get put back into a regular Geshrin body, or, with the timing you have, a Yamataian body.

You're going to great lengths to make her a Nekovalkyrja, and for what? To satisfy your board avatar? It's too much. If you really want her to be a Nekovalkyrja, you should just make her a fresh Neko, or even a Neko that's been alive for a few months.

I appreciate the lengths you're going to, and the determination you have. I feel I'm partially to blame for this, somehow. But you should just make her a regular Neko, without a Yamataian past, and move on.
