History of SARP Warfare.

During the course of the SARP, there have been a large number of conflicts, both in space and on planets. There have been such a large number, that some of the smaller battles, or even some of the larger, have been forgotten or ignored by most.

So, what I would like to know is; Where have there been battles/skirmishes/all out throw downs, who was involved, what kind of technology was involved, the starships and starship types that were involved, the losses, and who was the victor?

The information gathered would be of great assistance to players wishing to make officers whom would know such things as standard knowledge, to individuals wishing to begin salvage plots, and even where to have pirates linger in waiting.

Edit: Also if possible, a small blurb about each battle if possible, and if possible a link to the post(s) that the battle took place.
 
This is not meant to be answered by one person in one go. This thread can be built upon by multiple individuals whom recall SARP battle scenes and details. This thread can also be added to as more battles take place. I would just like to compile the information to make it more accessable to those who would like to see a record of battles.

Example:

Encounter with the cargo vessel.

YE 28, YSS Sakura Vs. Unknown Nepleslian Made Sojourner-class, Location: Restricted space, near the Wazu nebula.

YSS Sakura engaged the vessel when Miles Gunn's shuttle arrival alerted the vessel of the presence of a Yamatai vessel. The YSS Sakura easily disabled the vessel, and a boarding attempt was made. Shortly after the vessel was raided, an SMX assault caused the destruction of the cargo vessel. The YSS Sakura escaped the combat zone with minimal losses.

Battle In Lor Orbit - Moonfall.

YE 29, YSS Sakura Vs. Black Spiral Misshu Vessels.
Location: Lor system, Lorath homeworld orbit.

The YSS Sakura engaged a Misshu vessel and captured Star Army vessel, during the course of combat, several dozen Lorath vessels were destroyed, the captured Star Army vessel was cleared of valuble materials, and several Mindy armor were lost. Moon derbis were scattered into the Lorath homeworld's orbit.

Since this is both a useful reference thread and (like most of the reference threads in this setion) one that will need to be continually updated (at intervals which may or may not be regular), why not just sticky it?
