The Fort Ready plot would be the past while the Hokorimasu would be the present.
 
This character is approved for IC usage, with qualifications. The character will be in two plots, concurrently, with different locations on the timeline. However, the "past" plot's events are locked in and will not change the character's future during the "present" plot, preserving the events in both plots.
