Didn't the HSC use some alternative to energy shields? Is this going to create a system where they have "double" shields?

The HSC does have an Ablative Armor Plating which is used on some space craft.

The Stako do not have the ablative armor.

They just have normal physical armor. When I submitted the Ablative Armor Plating, I stated that it would never be used in conjunction with shields.
