Conditions:
Using Firefox 1.5.0.3 with Linkification Extension installed
Images on the site do not load

Possible fix (not verified):
Type about:config in address bar
Toggle linkification.settings.Linkify_LinkifyImages to false
Close and restart browser.

Not sure why this happened.
