Hello!

I'm Vsande. Some people call me V, but Sturdy, Sandy, and Kaname all work too. I have many interests, including writing, socializing, providing tech support, and perfectionism, but certainly not limited to this bunch.

Question for those whom want to post a welcome: What is your favorite activity?

My favorite activities are working on Star Army and having my arms wrapped around my wife. I love them both tremendously!

Uhm... I'm not really sure how to join a plot. Do I just contact the person, and ask if they have an opening available?
 
Sure. You can PM the GM or post in the plot's OOC thread. The plots are supposed to list openings and joining info on their wiki pages, too.

Which factions/plots are looking good for you so far?
 
Last night I hopped onto your IRC, and Gunsight was there; I've landed on my character being an IT occupation for the YSS Sakishima.

So, I look forward to jumping into that plot, if my character is acceptable to Gunsight when I'm through with it.

Hey, and welcome to SARP! Glad to see a fellow newbie to the site.

I'm also on the YSS Sakishima plot, the resident technician (once the Sakishima's crew shanghais her aboard) that'll be suffering from some PTSD thanks to Gunny.

My hobbies include writing, repairing stuff, studying politics and business, driving fast, driving high end R/C trucks and cars fast, airsoft, shooting, forgetting I put my propane torch in a box going into a fire(that got dicey), mud runs, and of course watching comedy acts.

I'm currently working on getting characters in each of the main factions RPs so if you(or anyone) wants to make characters with past or present relations(family, friends, coworkers, unfriendly neighbors, ect.) let me know. I just got here and I love it and I hope you will too.

Welcome! I've only been here a short while myself, but I think you'll enjoy your stay.

Favorite activity. Hm. I really enjoy collaboration and the feeling I get from succeeding as a group. I'll take it however I can get it - roleplay, raiding, managing others at work, etc.
 
Welcome, VSande! It seems like you've got everything well in hand, so I won't waste your time dumping a lot of unsolicited information on your head. I see you've already found your way into the IRC as well, so don't be shy about asking questions in there as they come up!

As for my favorite activites, I would say most things outdoors, and of course spending playtime with my two children. I guess spending time with their father is nice once in a while, too. LOL
 
If you get stuck, come hassle us on the IRC.

We're always up for a chat. Just pop in a name. No need for a password unless you register with the chat-server. Be sure to type /join #sarpfree, since a lot of us like to hang in the alternative channel -- and #stararmy if it doesn't load automatically.

If nobody replies, leave a few private messages and we'll get back to you the next time you're online. Think of it as an answering machine.
