Of the two hundred million channels available within Nepleslia, all but two (those covering the Aethersperm concert) suddenly went black. A moment later, the face of a handsome Nepleslian soldier, dressed cordially in full dress uniform appeared on screen. A black IPG band stood in full view on his right arm, easily visible against the stark white backround. The soldier shuffled several papers in front of him and stared hard into the camera.
"Several days ago, immediately before the Red military attack on Nepleslia, a small group of Nekovalkyrja were spotted in Funky City. Among them was Taisa Ketsurui Hanako."
The man, a Lieutenant, as indicated by his rank bars, looked down, rapidly read several lines through his prepared script, and returned his vision to the camera. "During her intrusion on Nepleslia, Hanako and her cohorts were spotted by a large group of Nepleslian citizens, which pursued her until three armored Funky City Police Department officers intervened and attempted to stop the rioters." The IPG man breathed deeply, worked up every ounce of acting talent he could muster, and continued in a manner befitting a major tragedy.
"For unknown reasons, Taisa Ketsurui sent a wide-band transmission to numerous mercenaries in the area." He closed his eyes for a moment, gritting his teeth. "According to recent Star Army intelligence collection, she sent a request for support in dealing with the police officers. Moments later, eight mercenary Kylies were spotted flying over the area and opening fire on the law men. All three were reported dead on the scene." He looked down at the table once more, and pretended to wipe away a tear.
When he returned his view to the camera, his mood had turned from one of sorrow to one of anger. "While Hanako's actions are by no mean a standard means of operation within Yamatai, her actions can not go unpunished. The Taisa's blatant disregard for International Law and Nepleslian life is not helping anyone. As of now, we demand Ketsurui Hanako delivered to us with all of her Soul Savior backups. These demands are harsh, but they are undeniably just."
The screen went black once more before returning to regular programming. On the two Aethersperm channels, a small bar along the bottom of the screen was about half way through a textual version of the speech.
