[ISC Enkidu] Let the Looting Begin!

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

Captain loud voice could be heard from intercom. Chrys just noded and smiled. "There we go," she said. "Looks like they are back, from what I have heard they have found some survivors on that wreck. One of them is some kind of robot-girl but the second is just some girl. Maybe you should have a look on her later."

She took few steps closet to little Neko who organised her cabinets. Chrys looked at cabinet and then at Eika. "Do you need help? I am free now, and organising is easy."

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

Helen followed close behind with her alien friend Anya as she crossed over to the other ship. It would probably be the third ship she had ever been on, and had some expectations of what the ship would be like, though mostly just be happy if it didn't smell of blood.

Sadly the ship she arrived in was not in the best of condition she imagined. The thought of having to scrub the entire ship with a tooth brush was making her reconsider her cleaning offer but otherwise she put her arms behind her head and waited to be escorted to the bridge so she could show them where the dead man's chest was drifting in space.

Stepping closer made Eika breath a little faster. The Elysian towered over her, even more than the Nepleslian drill instructors back in the Star Army.

"No, no! Go on and see the captain; make sure everything's OK. No need to mention me; I'll just keep at my job! Besides, she might have prisoners that need your muscle."

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

Specs followed Myr back to the airlock, removing her own suit and helmet, placing it back where she had retrieved it. This revealed that underneath her vacsuit, the Freespacer had on what appeared to be a swimsuit. A one piece of course, but a swimsuit nonetheless. She also had on thigh-high stockings.

"Captain, are we going to another wreck after this to look for some other loot, that isn't alive or... would you count a gynoid as alive? They do move, and this one even seems sentient. But then there aren't organic organs really. But then..." Specs trailed off, seemingly arguing with herself a bit as to whether to count Anya and other similiar gynoids as alive or not.

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

Louis undid the speed-clips on the satchel holding the oxygen tanks in the satchel bag, then removed the tanks and placed them next to the suits. The breather mask was hung from one of the tanks, and then promptly abandoned. (The canvas bag remained around his shoulder). The mercenary strongarm ambled up next to Specs, falling into step next to the smaller Freespacer.

"If ye wanna discuss technicalities, then no, Yerna ain't living. Sentience dinnae necessarily mean life." Louis shrugged. "Tha's sentient, but it innae livin'." He added, throwing a thumb over his shoulder at Anya.

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

Specs frowned. "Machines can be alive. They have needs just like you and me. They just eat different things and stuff," came her slightly annoyed reply, before her face seemed to brighten up. She answered her question she was debating.

"They don't eat things like those Antimatter O's or something we would eat. They'd just eat whatever power source they have, drink... I don't know, oil to lube up their gears?." Her eyes glanced around randomly, though it was it was her browsing the Polysentience. "Lessee, they respond to stimuli, definitely. Machines all have a life cycle, being produced in individual parts, then being assembled, and finally, and sadly, wearing out. Next... instead of cells, they're made of things like parts and stuff. Some of them can 'reproduce' too, like those manufacturing machines." She nerded out on Louis as she looked up what defines something as living. Obviously, she took some liberties with the definitions.

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

Louis' head tilted incredulously to one side, cocking an eyebrow as he looked at the strangely-dressed Freespacer. Most of Specs' words went over the assassin's head, the mercenary having recieved only the barest education from his colonial upbringing. A few seconds of awkward silence passed between the 'Spacer and the assassin as Louis' brain mulled over the input it had just recieved.

"Well, if'n ye wanna put it tha' way," Louis finally grunted, with a "what the fuck ever" shrug of his shoulders.

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

Chrys raised one eyebrow suprised. Neko's sudden outburst was a little strange. But Chrys was not one to dwell on things so she just shrugged and said, "Okay. But if you need a hand or if you in mood for chat then come." With that she turned around and left.

She came to others. She wanted to look at survivors and maybe captain could use some 'muscle'. Who knows. Specs in swimsuit didn't surprise, but that girl who came from derelict was interesting. She was small and different. Her goggles were even more strange. Chrys just leaned on wall ready to draw her forty-fiver if anything should happen. Anything that couldn't be solved with words or her fist.

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

"Don't start talkin' about th' next wreck 'fore we're done with this one, tits." The captain ambled on through the corridors, towards the cockpit where Dante was. She hollered ahead of them to Dante. "Get ready t'do some pinpoint shit!"

"And that's living, but not sentient." Shiori helpfully gestured to Louis to expand upon his explanation for Specs. His suggestion to space the two girls had apparently made him her designated punching bag for the day. The argument about whether machines were alive or not didn't particularly interest her, though, and she ignored the rest of it.

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

"Pinpoint shit?" Dante tilted his head, looking around the back of his chair at the captain. Seeing the entire crew approaching, "I'm not sure if I should take you literally on that or not."

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

Chrys though for a second about conversation Specs and "thatguy" had. "Well if it thinks and makes choice for itself it makes it sentient ot not?" she finally said out loud. "If in doesn't think or adapt in some situations it is just ...... stupid." Her thought process couldn't come with anything more clever to say. Clever was never her proficiency anyway.

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

"No, I don't actually want you t'take a pinpoint shit," the captain muttered. "I mean yer gonna hafta go straight to the coords the chick gives ya. Maybe grab somethin' with yer grabber."

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

As soon as they entered the Enkidu, Anya could only grimace at the state the vessel. It seemed like she had left one vessel not in her database and entered another unknown class of vessel, and an ill-maintained one at that. The gynoid remained silent the others seemed to speak about whether she was a living being or not. Personally, she found such talk pointless. Yorna Androids were a product sold by NAM and so were JANE units. Didn't that mean she was just salvage? Anya simulated a sigh as she glanced at Helen and then at Myr.

"Captain, would you care to have someone escort us to the Bridge," she inquired politely. "If Helen is going to show your pilot what to look for, it'd be best if she could access the sensor systems. Or in the very least, tell me so I can access the sensor systems." the gynoid explained before glancing down at her attire. "And...possibly a proper set of clothing--please?" she asked meekly. In the proper lighting of the working ship, Anya's blouse seemed quite 'revealing' while her makeshift skirt was definitely bed linen material. It was also easier to notice all the vacuum damage she had accumulated as well with scorched artificial skin and visible nano-muscle structure underneath.

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

"If I could recommend, ma'am." started Dante, now able to hear and see Anya for the first time, and speaking to them through the same speakers the A.I. "There should be cover-alls in the engineering bay, unless someone feels like loaning you some. Your short friend there can grab a pair of cover-alls too, if the Captain allows." The pilot leaned into his display, noticing the marks on the Yorna's skin. He zoomed in the view, and finally saw her exposed muscular structure, "Ah! There should be some syntheto-skin in the med-bay as well, our Medical Officer should be able to spray some over the damaged and exposed skin on you."

Though, something caught his eyes as he zoomed back out, getting Myr into view with the rest of the crew.

"Why do we have so many short people on this ship...?" asked the Pilot, not paying attention to the fact that he was still speaking to the crew at Myr's and Anya's location.

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

Chrys heard remark about short people. She froze for a second and than looked at others. Only after that she said in communicator. "You are kidding right?"

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

"Coz Myr hired a tonna short folk, Dante," Louis replied over the ship's COMM. "Do ye really hafta look inta it?"

The mercenary claimed one of the jump seats in the back of the room, where auxiliary bridge crew would generally sit when not needed for a job, stretched his legs out and rested his head against the bulkhead wall of the bridge. Clearly he wasn't worried about anything at the present moment, and decided merely to wait until something happened where he was needed.

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

"Hrm? Clothes? I'm sure I have something that you could wear, if you wanted," Specs said, suddenly appearing next to the gynoid and observing the artificial skin. She even prodded a bit. It appeared as though she had completely forgotten the discussion on the definition of living.

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

Helen however couldn't really understand the odd Freespecker and moved Anya as though to protect her, and then stood in front of her. The swimsuit wearing Freespacer was probably the weirdest thing she has seen in her life and had become a little paranoid when their attention was focusing on her.

"Anya my friend, step beck!" she warned giving the Freespecker a mean look to show she means business, though not quite sure what she herself would do especially with the rowdy leader nearby.

Re: Let the Looting Begin!

Anya blinked at Helen before reaching over and placing her hands upon the young woman's shoulders. "Helen, it's all right." she stated with a soft smile. "She isn't trying to harm me at all. Just relax, okay?"
