I'm more known to friends online as Sigma. It may or may not be my favorite letter of the Greek alphabet.
How'd you find Star Army?
Buddies I know online *cough* Pancakei and Co. *cough* talk about SARP every now and then.
What interested you in joining?
I needed a more immersive and practical medium to put my (slightly rusty) writing into. This place seems interesting and fun enough for me.
Ever done this text-based roleplaying thing before?
A lot in the past, though only a fraction of it was sci-fi.
Any previous experiences you want to share?
Writing is a hobbyist passion I've put into stories and roleplaying. I've written a few short works I tend to keep to myself or minimal audiences if any, and I liked to do mixed roleplaying of any kind.
Aside from the field of literature, I've been working on improving myself as an artist. The last piece I did was for someone you might know.

I have no preference here, all works for me! - Spontaneous or planned RP?
I have more fun when it's spontaneous, though I do like the order in planned. - Military or civilian characters?
Civilian. - Humans, androids, anthros, or aliens?
I have more experience playing humans and anthros, as well as a fondness to animate the inanimate. - Being on a starship or being on a planet?
As long as my character is in a plane of existence I'm fine with either. - Roleplay via forum posts or in real-time?
Forum posts would do me better considering future plans during/after summer.
