Psychological Characteristics
Personality: Jaq is very protective of the others in his squad and will spare his life if it will save two of his squad mates. Jaq almost never laughs but he almost always caries a smile. Jaq feels that when you pilot a mech you are expanding your soul and connecting with the soul of the machine. Jaq see his career as almost holy. Jaq is fully confident in him self but not as mush with people he does not know.
Likes: Order, Robotics, electronics
Dislikes: Chaos, space combat

History: Jaq was born on Yamatai and was raised by a family that was full of robotics engineers and mechanics who helped a near by military base repair their mech. This is where Jaq's fascination with machines and the military was spawned and grew.
Jaq entered the 5th expeditionary force just in time for a muntuny inwhich he and the 17th armoured wing defended the Admira and a group of officers to retake control of the Aurko.
Jaq latter went on to be transfered to the momentary 21st armour wing which went on to explore a derelict ship that had wandered into YSA space.
After the scouting mission he went on to command a squadron of armours in a failed assault on a SMX battle group that had taken hold in the murf system and ended up dieing after staying behind on the Namiko. He did this for pentence for accidently killing a squad mate in a case of friendly fire.

Skills:
Communication: Jaq frist learned started to learn to read and write when his parents started to teach him when he turned 5. As he grew older his parents started to teach him how to use the radio to call in orders for parts and the like. As he started to help his parent repair the military mech's he learned how the com-interface and other radio equipment. Worked. Jaq is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Jaq is fluent in English. He can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.
-Fighting and Physical: Jaq started to learn these skills as a child as he would wrestle with friends and as a young adult when we would spent long hours in a combat simulator playing around. When he entered basic his skills began to flourish. Jaq's accuracy with a pulse rifle is deadly but his close combat skills are very... sub-par. Jaq received hand-to-hand combat training. He is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons he is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and power armor.
-Information technology: Jaq learned how to operate a computer by helping his parents run diagnostics on the many computer systems of the mech's they repaired. Jaq never had that great of skill in the fine detail of how the computers operated but he could still fix them adequately. Jaq is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. He is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.
-Mathematics: Jaq never really had any interest in mathematics, in-fact the only reason he bothered to learn any great depth of it was because of desire to join the military. Jaq received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry.
-Starship Operations: Jaq learned how to operate a few to the systems of a starship from a short lived interest he had about being a crew of a starship. But he never made it past learning how to operate back-up life-support systems.
-Vehicles: Since the day Jaq first saw a mech being piloted he wanted to know how to drive such an amazing device. As Jaq's knowledge of how mech's grew his parents would let pilot them from their repair station to a transport that would bring them back to the military base. When we entered the military he first looked into being a starship crewman but he soon abandoned that and strove to become a great mech pilot and learned the things that he couldn't learn from just moving the mechs from point A to point B
-Leadership: Jaq isn't as much a leader as he is a point of strength for his comrades. He can't perform great speeches or like but his ability to enter a dire situation without outward fear and with great pride is a good boost of moral for squad mates.
