Jump Pod

Suggest combing through your article again for spelling errors. Also. How does the pod make landfall? "Nose" (Pointy tip) first or blunt end?
 
Ran it through spell check, and gave it a proof read.

I also added an explanation about how the craft lands.
 
So it is pretty much a single use item. Because you are driving the thruster pod into the ground to hold it upright, which pretty much precludes firing them up again.
 
Pretty much, it can be retrieved reused later, but essentially the pod is a one way express elevator to hell.
