Nearly a month ago, the KdIS did a report on colonization effort in the newly discovered Northern Sector. We at the station would like to congratulate the brave individuals who have signed up for the adventure of a life time and wish them happiness in their new homes.
Reports from Himmel der Bergleute have started to flood the Jaspis System with tales of large deposits of raw materials to fuel the private industries. Though there are no planets at all in the system, the massive asteroid and dust fields of Himmel will be a great boon to the economy.
The Meltra System, on the other hand, does contain three planets and has one habitable planet out of the three. Colonized by 20 million citizens, Meltra III is claimed to be a world much like Abwehr. The only differences are the lower gravity, which has forced many of the citizens to build domed surfaces cities and underground cities with Unidirectional Gravity Plating in order to maintain their health in Abwehr-like gravity.
The next colonization effort is due to launch within the week, this one heading to the majestic Schongebiet System. A wondrous system that contains four habitable planets with in a binary star system, it is claimed by many Astronomers to be a rarity in the galaxy, considering the statistics of even finding habitable worlds in the galaxy.
Unfortunately, the CSAA and Weltraumflotte have yet to make any decisions regarding the fourth system to be surveyed by the Empire. Yet there are reports on future colonization efforts of the Neue Jaspis System occurring with in the next two months.
