The freighter had gotten final clearance to dock with the large station, and was now finishing the lastof the protocols for unloading it's large amount of living cargo. After weeks, and even months, of being on the ship, the Kohanian refugees had finally found a safe place to go while their people warred on the surface.

Of course the crew of the ship had been kind to both furred, and non furred guests, and that had made the bond between Nepleslian and Kohanian grow all the more quickly, even some of the refugees decided that after resting on the station for a while, they would join the crew of the Nepleslian vessel and cruise around the stars, seeing all that the wide galaxy had to offer.

Night Watches Over, however, had made the choice to remain with his people on their new home. Which, with help from the Nepleslian communications officer, they had gotten permission to rename the Imhotep. The tall jackal was the first to stride off the ship, and into the open air of the star fortress.

He smiled softly, sniffing at the air as his oversized ears twitched to all the new sounds. Some of the Nether Reach were right behind him, wanting nothing more than to explore every square inch of their new dwelling, but would wait for their leader's approval before heading off. Another favor the Nepleslians had done for the Kohanians had been teaching the primitive people their language, so when Night saw the crowd of Nepleslians crowding onto a balcony above where the people were disembarking, he tucked his handpaws together and bowed to them with a softly spoken hello.

After several minutes of taking in all that was in the immediate area, and happily finding that there seemed to be no one sent to kill them, Night turned back to the door of the freighter and nodded. And the others quickly filed out, and with the help of the Nepleslian crew, began to investigate and learn their new surroundings, tails tucked still in fear, and jumpy of all new sounds, but happy to finally find a new, safe place to call home.
