Approved Character Kyohaku Hinote

Biggest problem I can see is that Yamataian bodies were free to transfer to, so he wouldn't have needed to use his family's savings for that. I went through, eliminated some spelling errors and coding mistakes, and added to his boilerplate fighting skill the infantry specializations for you. Other than that, I'll let the character mods go over it.

I'm not sure I understand this. When did he see that Geshrin couldn't serve in the military? As in, what age?

And did the parents not have Soul Transfer backups? They would've been forced to become Yamataians if they lived on Yamatai itself. That would've created a soul backup. And he wouldn't need to pay for the Yamataian body, either; Yamatai's government would've provided it for free.

There are a couple of possible reasons for the lack of backing up the family. However, both would definitely be atypical behavior.

A citizen has control over their backup, so it is also possible that the parents had their back up from when they transfered erased, and since updating a backup is voluntary they may have opted to not back up.

They could have had a living will that said they did not want to be restored.

Pushing the larger end of Yamataians Yamataian's have similar stats as their predecessors the Gesrhin, with Average Height of 6'1" and weight of 165

This means the character is 7 inches shorter than average and 24 pounds heavier.

Just my two cents worth.

Ah...apologies, it seems I have more work to do than I expected. I'll get to work fixing everything.

To answer your questions, I looked at the Geshrin page again, and see that there are inconsistencies in my character (the size and year Geshrins were banned from the military, and I never found anything on the fact that all people on Yamatai were given free Yamataian bodies and backups, only that they never went hungry). I apologize for that, and it seems I’ll have to rewrite my history here.

Also...small question on power armor (this is the source of my size confusion). The most recent model (from what I can tell) requires a person to be under 5’7”, so I assumed that was the higher end of the spectrum so far as height goes. Since my assumption is false, does that mean that there’s a different model that allows for taller Yamataians, or is there a power armor other than the MINDY that I couldn’t find?

The Daisy allows pilots to be taller, but it's not Yamatai's primary spacy power armor (the Mindy is). There's a taller version of the Mindy, too, but it's experimental (the Mindy 3).

The Daisy can be used as a spacy armor, but it won't perform nearly as good as the Mindy.

Thank you for the info...trying to figure out the whole universe at once is a bit overwhelming.

EDIT: Ok...I think I fixed everything. Ready for round two!

Didn't want to double post, but just a nudge for review of my edit. Normally, I would be patient and wait, but I want to get down to having fun and rping here, and I think that the edit I put in my last post wasn't noticed amongst all the other posts I'm sure mods go through.
