Is it possible to get some examples of how this would increase the range and power of some Lorath weapons?

Also: we've been trying to reduce weapon projectile speeds to subluminal velocities. This does the opposite of that. Even if it's a component that can attach to other things, I can't ignore what it does to weapons, or engines for that matter.

It basically brings newer plasma weapons in line with the range and velocity of this thing: https://wiki.stararmy.com/doku.php?...pressed-packet-weapon:compressed_packet_rifle

Think I should add somewhere that if you fire it like this in an atmosphere, the secondary effects aren't worth it (disrupted atmosphere, won't reach velocity, etc)?: Its mainly for interorbital/intersystem/deep space combat.

I see that, Leigh.

However, you're taking it beyond what the rules allow. Projectile speeds as well as engines.

Unless you lower those velocities, I have to reject it.
