Link Siphon and Related Submissions

It is unusual for me to bundle submissions like this, but it when connencted, they provide a cheap and powerful power alternative for both the military and the civilian.

First is the Link Siphon.

Based on the Link Device on the Ascendancy-class Flagship, this allows a Star Army or MFY vessel to take advantage of the materials high pressures of a natural star for a power source.

Next is the Stellar Link Siphon.

A large platform which absorbs power from stars and makes a natural byproduct, compressed Helium.

The compressed Helium is stored in these containers:

And can be used in either a Link Siphon or the commercially available Pressurized Helium Reactor.

Cheap byproduct = cheap fuel for civilian ships. Which can easily be replenished by refilling your container at a Stellar Link Siphon and paying per helium use, or a general payment plan where the Compressed Helium is transported by Link Device right into your tanks without the ship deviating from normal activities.

Finally you put it up Toshy! :geek: I gave it a once over before when you'd asked, I'll get to this when I can.
 
As having read over most of this as it was assembled, I really like it. It takes advantage of existing technology; (Link Device) etc.

Approved for IC usage.
 
Thank you. I would like to note to everyone that the 5th XF will still use Aether devices, by the way. However, this I hope will also become a common source of power. Less volatile than Antimatter at least, and MUCH more plentiful.


This is NOT to be viewed as an attempt to nerf Aether. Just covering my butt there.
