This armor kit has been designed to fit onto the 'Wind' armor system. This added exterior armor is designed to add increased survivability and function to the 'Wind' armor system, and is the first in a series of armor kits which are to be added to the armor system's line.

these plates are distinctively separate, and are designed to be installed section-by-section. The end result is a sort of plate-mail form-fitting armor which has an appearance which is comparable to modern power armor.

That directly contradicts the strength and structural support additions.

If you remove those, I'll approve it.

The made me think of Rollergirl from Boogie Nights.

I've tweaked the descriptions on the strength assist and structural augmentation to indicate that the structural augmentation layer is placed between the plate section and the Wind suit beneath. The strength assist components deliver their additional force assist to the structural augmentation layer. I think that will allow it to come together nicely.
