It is also true that all legends have some basis in fact. Tales are told of the Yamataian elves and their magics, ancient souls communicating with the living...much is made of prophecy, even if most modern sentients disdain such as superstition and claptrap. In any case, no matter what you believe, there's a good reason this is Alphonse's favorite of the stories in this ancient book of his...he could easily be described as a combination of those three men, and in a very peculiar way.
