In this setting metamaterials should be able to be produced that are thin, work on multiple wavelengths, and that can be built small enough to work either in the place of or with electronics when combined with smart materials.

Right now I think bending energy with negative refractive index is already cool enough. I was told that I had to get metamaterials approved seperately before I could use them in other submissions.
