Yamatai Star Empire

UNN A’aenalin

Esari waited in the shuttle bay for the Mining Guild representative to arrive. As usual, he was in his white and gold duty uniform rather than some type of Imperial attire. He had yet to be back to Vespa anyway, having met with Aester Aelya Eitan of Tsenlan and Ketsurui Hanako of Yamatai. Out of he and his twin, he was the one with the most interest in diplomacy and humanitarian missions - as opposed to Aetrielle, who preferred combat. The pink-haired Jol'Aestaesys stood patiently awaiting his guest's arrival. This out of all the meetings he had, was the only one so far to take place on his ship - rather Naelui's ship now.

The Yugumo Corporation Taka-class shuttle, purchased by the Mining Guild's diplomatic corps made its approach to UNN A’aenalin, and gracefully landed. The doors soon opened, and a short 2 foot tall black furred rabbit anthro approached sitting on a hovering chair at head level. Beside her, was another woman, with large ears that clearly weren't human based. The two dresed well, with Mining Guild insignias on their chest, one with a Branch Head symbol the other diplomatic corps.

The two made their approach towards the Norian delegation, followed soon behind a female cyborg deer anthro. The women beside the Rabbit anthro spoke first. "Jol'Aestaesys Esari Eitan I i am honored for this chance to meet you, beside me is Sora Kurosaki, the branch Head of the Tange system, in the Motoyoshi Colonial Sector in Yamatai Star Empire. The one behind me, is Kali Firewalker, it is likely that she is the one who your people will likely doing business with, in the Kosuke Sector, while Sora will be for Yamatai, until such time as our move of our main headquarters is concluded." Alice said with a calm respectful tone of voice especially to someone deserving of respect.

Esari gave a welcoming subtle nod and said, "It is an honor to have you all on board the A’aenalin. My staff has arranged some refreshments for us in the conference room. I have to admit I have yet been to the Kosuke Sector, as that our worlds were moved there while I have been deployed. I suppose the price of leadership." He then led the way out of the shuttle bay and into the corridors of the ship. The corridors were spartan, a lot of black and white paneling that covered the ship's ITMS, with polished black floors without carpeting. After a few moments they arrived at the conference room, and he ushered them to go on in ahead of him. "You first..." he said. The conference room was beautifully decorated, with living plants and flowers from their core worlds, as well as a small Zen-inspiring water feature. The circular table, had volumetric interfaces at each seat, as well as an array of volumetric imaging units integrated into it. "Have a seat," he motioned toward the table which had four casks of chacelle and a plate of fruit imported from the UNI complements of Tsenlan's markets.

The Mining Guild trip walked walked with Esari with excitement and trepidation. all three were excited for this event. The talks with the Norians, telling them about the Mining Guild, showing what they are offering. Kali dipped her head as she entered the conference room doors, while the other two didn't have a need to. Sora's seat adjusted and modified itself to fit in the Norian's seats as The others gracefully sat down. "The Kosuke Sector hasn't been fully explored yet, but the things our scouts and explorers, not only from the Mining Guild, but from the Colonial Initiative Alliance Fleet have shown upon return has caused us great interest. My Branch is excited to explore, those places, and seeing what we can find in the asteroids, you mentioned in your last message." Kali Fire walker said. The Mining Guild trip didn't batted an eye at the comment of worlds being moved.

Kol'yana Nyana Velathra followed quietly behind Esari, observing the interactions as their conversation unfolded. As their guests filtered in, her gaze fell over all that the Mining Guild had brought to this meeting. Certain things piqued her interest, especially their explorations of the Kosuke Sector. What exactly was it they had found that brought great interest? Nyana had her own suspicions about what lurked within shadows of the unknown, ones she kept to herself. Her Commanding Officer Naelui was tied up on the bridge, so Nyana had been sent to attend in her stead. She watched as others chose their seats, waiting to see where Esari sat before picking her own.

He listened as Kali spoke, he waited until she was finished speaking and then motioned to Nyana. "This is Kol'Yana(Sub-Commander) Nyana Velathra, the ship's second officer, she will be with us for the duration of our talks, due to the fact her captain is occupied," he introduced the pink-haired and blue-eyed Vespan. "Space has many secrets it has yet to give up. I hope that all nations involved in it's exploration will be conscious of that." He glanced briefly to Nyana and then back to the Mining Guild Representatives and said, "The asteroids we speak of are in Grid 0009 of the sector, in a star system we have designated as UN-22." as he spoke the mindhive brought up a map of the Kosuke Sector and the system in question lit up."Keep in mind the mining rights in the system's belt are what we offer, it will still be considered our astral territory, as that there is a world in the system which is ideal for us to colonize. With both Vespa and Lorenz overcrowded with refugees, and Noria occupied by the Craethel. Tsenlan as you know has been one of several systems they are looking to for protection." He paused, stood up and opened one of the casks, and poured each of them a glass of chacelle. He obviously had no use for subservient attendants. "We thank you for you involvement in the crisis at Tsenlan. Yamatai is one of our oldest and closest allies, and since you are part of their Empire, we are happy to do business with you." he explained in conclusion.

Sora looked towards Nyana for a moment, as the Mining Guild trio listened to Esari speak. Sora thought she was pretty, like most Norian women seemed to be. But sora refocused on the conversation and the trio nodded their heads in greetings. While Sora smiled "greetings Kol'yana Nyana Velathra" She said attempting to make sure to pronounce her name and title correctly out of respect. As the talk of the location came up, they observed the map, Kali in particular took note how far it was from systems found by the Alliance Fleet.

"As i recall" said Kali "the Mining Guild has operated as a charter before. In the case of UN-22 the charter between the Mining Guild and your people, could stipulate what we are allowed to do there, how much of our technology we could have there. I don't not see a problem, if your people want that, just have our focus on the asteroid field. I personally, like the idea of equal collaboration, this is something i have tried to push for with the groups in the Kosuke Sector and there have been successes in one project between the Guild, and our allies, friends in Yugumo Corporation." Kali said to him "Collaboration of course brings a topic of interest, in the Guild's leadership, between it and your people, not only in the Kosuke Sector, but in Tsenlan as well." She said.

Kali frowned as she thought of overcrowding in the vespa and Lorenz systems she hoped that there was some way to help them. "Yamatai is home to one of my Guild's close friends, not to mention that many employees including high ranking members are from there. Joining the Empire only benefits the guild and we can benefit the Empire." Alice Sursilvan said as she triangles her fingers

Esari poured Nyana and his own glass of bubbly red chacelle before he sat back down. "Your Imperial Premier and I had a meeting recently. We believe in mutual collaboration, That is why, despite everything we will be joining Yamatai's war against the SMX - for that is what allies do." Esari took a sip from his glass and focused on Kali, "So, obviously we are open to collaboration with your guild as well. These will be things that our diplomacy corps will handle, I intend to send Lynira Aucari in my place after my time in this sector comes to an end. She can work out the finer details." He considered her wording carefully, "The way you speak of it suggests you have branches in other nations?" he enquired.

The Mining guild trio nodded their heads as Esari spoke, acknowledging his words each of them smiled as his statements of his willingness to collaborate was heard. "indeed." Said Alice Space is large, and sometimes having a massive fleet may be difficult for one man or women to handle, perhaps even for AI. So the Guilds operates in branches, for Systems we may find. Kali however, isn't just a branch leader, she'll be the woman in charge of the entire Mining Guild in operation in Kosuke Sector. Sora is our first international Branch Leader, we have operations in a nation called the New Dusk Conclave, but desire for expansion, growth had made us decide to seek out other territories, ones under the control of other nations. Because of Kali Firewalker's collaboration with the Empire's Fifth Expeditionary Fleet and First Expeditionary Fleet Assets, doors opened for us to branch into Yamatai. Which now is led by Sora, our CEO's daughter. My collaeagues are in talks with Yamatai, to open not only operations in other Yamataian systems but in Marketing as well. " Alice said.

"I see, well your diplomatic proceedings with Yamatai are between you and them. We will follow suit with the Empire of course.," he said as he leaned back a little in his chair. "We will be looking at very rapid expansion in the sector to accomodate our population." He then pointed out, "Make no mistake, this recent crisis was due to the sudden Craethel capture of our homeworld and the room we had on our worlds in the Kosuke Sector ran out. We have high hopes for our future there.." He thought for a minute, he knew he had heard the other name before. //"A’aenalin please look up the New Dusk Conclave in our databases and cross reference with Director Katara Eitan."// He then said, "I look forward to our future collaborations." he knew he also had to becareful what he said - Yamatai didn't let their citizens know anything about transuniversal travel.

The trio nodded "I'm not familiar with the Craethel, as you call them" Alice said leaning forward. "I, we'd be interested in hearing more about them, but understandable, they are a threat, i'm going to say a national level threat like those of the Mishhuvurthyar. a concern indeed, And of course there may be discomfort when speaking of them." Alice said. "in terms of our collaboration, if it is acceptable, i'd like us to begin by finding new homes, for your people. The Pegasus-class Prospector ship is a product of collaboration between the Guild and Yugumo Corporation. Began by Kali's branch of the Engineering corps infact. its systems will not only be able to detect resources but whether a planet has an environment suitable to virtually any species, though that has not yet been tested." Alice said, and Kali nodded her head in agreement as Alice had spoken. "of course the ship isn't the only one in our.. Welcome Basket as it were that we are offering to use if interested."

Alice placed a Data pad onto the table, which began displaying ships some large others smaller. "that one" She said pointing to the second largest in the images "is called the Dragon-class Mobile refinery, its how we refine the ore we mine, we believe these may also be useful to you as well. The ship close to it, on its underside, is a ship that handles the waste created from the refinement process." Alice said as she introduced two of the three ships they are offering.

Esari looked at the images and smiled, "The Mishhuvurthyar are a threat that has been made clear in my discussions with Imperial Premier Ketsurui Hanako." He thought over what Alice was saying, "It actually may not be Lynira that I will get you in contact with. The more you say, the more I get the impression that your guild is a corporation. In which case, someone from Lux Aurora - our primary contractor and industrial conglomerate will likely be who you actually need to deal with. They would be responsible for outfitting the ships for our needs if we were to purchase any. Either way, I will make sure my people are in touch with yours." He thought for a moment and then said, "I wanted to convey our thanks in person for your assistance to our citizens that fled to Tsenlan. The Star Army and other parties including your Mining Guild were instrumental in reducing the number of casualties." Esari glanced over briefly at Nayana and then back to the group before them.

Sora grinned "i just feel we were lucky to be in the area, and could be of help, of course it wasn't just us, but one of your own, Nytha who had aided us in caring for your people, her, and of course our AutoDocs. But either way we are pleased to be of help and hope to further be of help if we can.' Sora said. Before adding "certainly, the Guild is structured as a corporation, though the Imperial Premier Ketsurui Hanako did say which i find amusing that she thought we the guild were like a nation onto itself." She said

"but whether this is through Lux Aurora, if that's preference or another, i and my colleagues are interested in speaking with either of them," Alice added.

"I will make sure either way, you're in touch with the right people. I will be headed back to Vespa Lakara shortly, and I will conferee with my advisors and with my sister on the matter. I have enjoyed our talk, and thank you again." Esari stood from his seat and gave a nod, before he led them back to their shuttle.
