About an hour after Saito had brought Yuriko to her suite, the man had placed her on her bed, and covered her up as she slept. The Shoi was now in a peaceful slumber, an escape you could say from the day's humdrum activities. Her bedroom was...much like that of any SAoY commander's room. Plush, and comfortable. The bed itself was queen sized, and had blue silken sheets, white feather pillows, and a large white comforter on it. The Shoi's chest moved up and down slowly as she slept, having not bothered to get out of her uniform.

Soon, a ringing sound, soft but audible, could be heard in the Shoi's quarters...there was no video, as the communicator didn't want to have another embarrassing situation. "Yuriko-Shoi? This is Kage Yaichiro-Taii...is now a good time to discuss your vessel?"

Saito was out in the living room just resting on the couch, acting almost like Yuriko's secretary, filtering the contact people would have with her while she was asleep. At least to promote the fullest and longest slumber she could have after that meeting with Misato. But he was just resting himself in the slightly darkened room with his moderate sized bag of...stuff at his feet and blades resting across his shoulder.

"Mmmm..." Yuriko purred a little, and shifted in the bed, her ear's lazily twitched at the ringing, and the voice that came through until her eyes slowly fluttered open. "Taii...?" The Shoi asked drowsely as she pawed at her eyes, and yawned before slowly sitting up. "I was sleeping...but I do not mind doing so."

Yaichiro paused on the other line... "Gomen, I did not realize how late it was. I am used to the night shift...I am sure you are aquainted with the sleep schedules of Tech-Head COs, being one yourself...I will let you rest."

"No no Taii...I am fine, I assure you. My meetings were just a little tiring. Being the newcomer, and coming wtih freed prisoners, and a Mishhuvurthyar ship in tow caught the eye of the admirality unfortunately so I had a meeting with Tange-Shosho, Kuniko-Shosho, and Taisa Motoyoshi. But I am fine now since I've gotten a few hours of sleep in." The Shoi nodded despite the display not having video.

Saito blinked, hearing Yuriko wake up and start talking through the cracked door and stood up. "I wonder who woke her up?" he muttered, yawning slightly himself and went to her door and knocked on it lightly. "Everything ok Yuriko?" he asked.

"Mmm, yes Saito-kun, everything is fine just conducting a bit of business." Yuriko replied kindly to her bodyguard.

Yaichiro seemed hesitant... "I know how that can be...are you sure you're up to it?"

Midori's form soon came to show in Yuriko's doorway just to the front receiving room, her wrist over her sword and more then likely Reiko in tow. With a knock she entered afterwards as the door opened for her, striding through the room with ease before she bowed once to Saito and waited to be seen.

"Of course I am Taii, if I was not, I would have rolled back over, and gone back to sleep." Yuriko chuckled lightly as she laid a hand on her stomach and smiled a little.

"...As a CO myself and an Engineer, I know that isn't always true...but if you say so...exactly what sorts of ideas did you have in mind for your ship, anyway?" He asked...

"Ah ok." Saito said and went to go let Midori in and nodded to her when she entered. "she's handing some business at the moment, anything I can do for you ladies?" He asked them politely.

"Hmm...I would like to work the kinks out of her systems. During our boarding actions we lost power prematurely to the stealth systems and were discovered before we were ready to launch our assault." Yuriko nodded along and got her way out of bed, stretching and yawning. "I would also like to discuss the power systems, and the experimental systems on the ship, I have an idea for one, and would like to run it past you to see if it would indeed be feasable, and work."

Reiko just looked to Midori, and then to Saito, her expression neutral.

"She is speaking with Yaichiro..." She said aloud, smiling softly. To Yuriko she sent a small message. "Hello Yuriko, Reiko and I have arrived and I hear you are speaking with Yaichiro, mind if I say hello?"

"Hmm...alright, what idea was this, exactly?" He asked, entering something in the datapad, over the audio...

"Oh the guy with the rubber duck..." Saito said dully and rolled his eyes, smirking a bit.

"By all means Midori." Yuriko returned kindly. "Unfortunately due to the sensitive nature of the equipment, I would prefer it if I show you in person."

"Sounds reasonable...let me know when there is a good time for you, alright?" He said, sounding as if he were nibbling on something off and on...

"Well...right now is reasonable." Yuriko returned.

Nodding lightly, Midori stepped into the bedroom and closer to where Yuriko lay. Waiting until the two finished speaking for the moment, Midori spoke up. "Greetings Yaichiro-Taii."

"...You need rest, Yuriko-Shoi..." Yaichiro said, uncertain if this was a good time. "You are a Captain in an unfamiliar, though safe, port--Midori? It's so nice to hear from you again! How have you been?" Yaichiro said, his tine changing immediately.

The only male in the room just stayed in the living room area watched the door but was almost curious about what was going on. But it wasn't his business to socialize like it was theirs. "How has your Training been going Reiko?" he asked her.

"Better now that I hear a familiar voice, how about you?" Midori asked aloud.

Yaichiro smiled at the other end, though it was audio only. "I'm doing well...I have my own ship, am in charge of a tech R&D and production teams, and have a crew...I even have an old Sakura Crewman. Remember Kobayashi Ichiro?"

"Ichiro...I believe so. Remind me please?" Midori replied as her eyes seemed to search.

"He was a Combat Arms we brought on...an Itto Heisho. He served when we saved the YSS Asuka...which it turns out is the ship I command now." Yaichiro said, beaming...it had been a while since he'd heard Midori's voice.

Midori nodded lightly as she finally remembered. "Tell him I say hello please. So what have you been keeping busy with Yai-kun?" Midori said with a small air of intimancy.

"Building things and Command. I haven't had time for much else as of late...this is the first downtime I've had in a while." Yaichiro said, noting her familiarity...in spite that he now outranked her, he didn't mind in the least.

"I see, sounds like you have been busy." Midori replied as she nodded somewhat, looking to Yuriko now. "How are you feeling?"

"I am fine...though I have something to tell you." Yuriko replied as she was now brushing her hair into some sembalance of order.

"Yes?" Midori asked, tilting her head to the side now.

Yuriko blushed a little as she continued to comb out her hair. "We will be having twins..."

"Twins...?" Midori asked, tilting her head a little more. "Why did you decide twins?" Her voice was flat, not showing approval nor disapproval at the idea.

"Well..." Yuriko began to push her two forefingers together, looking down at them. "I wanted a big family..."

"Any names picked out yet?" Midori asked.

Yaichiro listened, but stayed out of it for now...it was not his place to speak in their personal matters, superior rank or otherwise.

"They were only just conceived a few hours ago." Yuriko replied, looking up at Midori now, her violet eyes big.

"Well, then for my child I wish her to be named...Daragon." Midori replied, tilting her chin up though she still looked down at Yuriko.

Yuriko just smiled a little. "Have you been thinking of names for the past few hours? You said it somewhat quickly." The Shoi responded, putting her brush down, and walking over to Midori.

"Taii, I am ready to receive you now, so please, come by?" Yuriko added.

"Yes Yaichiro, it would be nice to see you." Midori replied a she nodded to Yuriko to answer her question.

Yaichiro thought for a moment, before nodding. "Alright, that sounds excellent...I will be finished with my dinner soon, alright?"

"That will be fine Taii, I will be waiting, MEGAMI has already been instructed to allow you aboard. Unless you wish to meet somewhere." Yuriko spoke as she placed a hand on her stomach.

Saito raised a visible brow at mention of the conception of twins and smiled a bit. "That's certainly a surprise to me." He said. "I suppose a congratulations is in order for you Yuriko-chan." He smiled a bit. His mind thinking over the whole situation if she did have a twins and the possible personalities, especially if Midori was a contributor. One would be the cold, unfeeling or tomboyish type; the other would be a cutesy girl. Possibly another Shii.

Yuriko smiled brightly at Saito. "Thank you Saito-kun."

"You can think of a prettier name then that teacher." Reiko said quietly as she stood off to the side, and nodded.

"I am not good for names..." Midori shrugged slightly and sighed, looking to her pupil now. "Any ideas?"

"Your are the mother, that is your domain." Reiko replied casually.

Yaichiro nodded... "I will arrive soon...and congratulations!"

Saito smiled back to Yuriko and listened to the talk of names. "Why name one of them Rin?" He suggested after a moment of consideration. "Or perhaps Natsumi?" he smiled a bit, liking those names personally. But worried it may not be right for him to suggest, but it wsa a joyous event and such things might go unnoticed in terms of being rude.

"Well then...unfortunately, I am eating for three now. And I can look forward to a lot of freting from Fuyu, Kyuuka and Saya." Yuriko said aloud, though the thought wasn't exactly pleasing... "Thank You Taii!" She returned happily, and asked Haru if she was busy.

"Some help you are..." Midori said aloud and rolled her eyes before she sighed, thinking over new names. Haru shook her head as a screen popped up infront of Yuriko with the sprite' face there.

"No Yuriko-sama, I am not busy. Do you need help?"

"Mmm...I am feeling a little hungry Haru-chan, do you think you could possibly make me something to eat?" Yuriko asked politely, rubbing her stomach lightly.

"What would you like?" Haru asked with a smile and a nod.

"I am eating for three...so something filling?" Yuriko asked, quite frankly she was hungry for just about any type of food.

"For three? Whoever else needs to eat can eat for themselves Shoi." Haru blinked, not quiet understanding what the woman was saying as she nodded and began to cook a large bowl of ramen noodles for the woman.

Saito chuckled a bit, hearing Haru. "She'll get it in a second if she pauses to consider..." he muttered.

"I am having twins Haru-chan..." Yuriko explained, slightly wondering why the girl didn't know yet. Usually the gossip spread like wildfire amongst the sprites.

"Thats great, so who else is ea-..AH! Oh Yuri-sama I am sorry! I didn't know..." Haru suddenly sounded pissed. "Those two down there always keep me out of the loop!" Grumbling lightly she continued to make the noodles, tossing in a few new items here and there

"Mmm...that is quite alright Haru-chan." Yuriko smiled a little as she lead the three out of her suite, and towards the wardroom. "So Midori...how are you liking my ship so far?"

"Rather impressive Yuriko. Seems fortune has favored you and has given you a rather nice gift." Midori said aloud as she led Yuriko out to the sitting area to sit on a couch.

Yuriko just blinked as she was abruptly seated. "I believe Hanako had a hand in it too. Otherwise I doubt I may have gotten this command myself. I maybe a little famous, and well known for the things I have done..but it would be best to not push it. Though I did manage to aquire a Mindy 1H which are rare."

PAUSE

ON: YSS Asamoya

With Midori and Reiko gone to discuss their current relationship, and possibly the future one, and with Saito roaming the ship familiarizing himself, Yuriko was left alone. The Shoi stood in the port Multi-Function Bay, going over the Transfer Chamber. Thankfully she'd calmed herself, and was back to normal, having been focusing on this. The Shoi checked the time, noting an hour and a half had passed. Where could he be? She wondered, Yaichiro could've just started his dinner, or had some other matters to attend to, either way, she would remain patient, having faith he'd inform her should he have had to cancel.

"Hey Yuri-chan...?" Came a call from Datenshi as she sauntered her way into the transfer chamber area. She seemed a little subdued as she looked around for the girl.

"Need something?" Yuriko asked absently as she heard the door slide open, and 'Tenshi's voice drifting into the room. The Shoi had at least ten volumetric windows open full of data as she worked on the Transfer Chamber.

"Nah, just wanted to say I'm sorry is all...I shouldn't have said that about the two samurai." The girl said in an apologetic tone.

"No, you shouldn't have." Yuriko replied, her tone neutral as another five windows popped up, now literally surrounding her. She turned to one, and tapped it several times, a series of beeps and sounds coming from it.

"I don't know why but I just can't relax around 'em...They just seem so dead to me. I guess it's cause I have had so little contact with them...but I can't help it." Datenshi shrugged a little as she strode forward some, getting closer to Yuriko.

Yaichiro stepped toward the hatch of the Asamoya, which opened....he peeked inside, sending a telepathic "ping" to anyone nearby...

Someone did respond, though in a different fashion. Something would fall on Yaichiro's head that seemed to squirm around. "Greetings Yai-kunnnn!" Came a somewhat highpitched yell.

"Imagine being unable to show your emotions for fear of them being used against you. They do it to keep themselves alive, and to be effective warriors. I can tell you right now that they don't like it. At least the samurai I know don't." Yuriko pointed out as she swiped a hand across another screen, dissipating it.

"We always show our emotions, yet they never backfire on us. So why can't they? We are effective weapons that kill just as well as they do." Datenshi said in retort.

"You ever spar with one?" Yuriko asked.

Yaichiro looked up, stepping aside, in confusion... "Anno...who are you?"

"I am Ame!" Ame replied, peering down now into Yaichiro's eyes.

"Well no...But I mean they would win, they got different bodies then us, but their minds work the same as ours..." Datenshi stuttered out

"Ame...Rain?" He said, holding back a laugh... "Well, you picked a fitting way to introduce yourself. I am Kage Yaichiro Taii, and I am expected, I believe."

"Haiiiii! Shii! Shii where are you? Yai-kun has arrived!" Ame called out, looking around for her friend.

"Bodies don't make the warrior." Yuriko responded dryly before turning to face 'Tenshi. "Mind, spirit, skill, determination, courage, intelligence. Those make the warrior. A body is simply a tool, and extension of your will. Against Midori, I was half trained, but I lasted nearly a full minute, coming up four seconds short. Emotions play a large role, facial expressions for example can give you away, emotions can also cloud your judgment, risking not only your life, but the lives of others. They deaden themselves to their emotions to preserve their own lives, and ours."

"Ano..."Another voice said, this one sounding like that from a very small girl. A little hand tugged at Yaichiro's pant leg now.

Yaichiro looked around as well, suspicious of the name....depending on interpretation, it could mean "Four"...or "Death". He looked down at the tug...

"Pft all that mind body and spirit stuff...Sorry I just don't believe in it. Thats just me though, hun." Datenshi shrugged a little as she clasped her hands behind her back. It seemed she was doing a little restraining as to what she wanted to say.

"How do you think we survived when kidnapped, or how do you think I rose through the ranks as I have, or fought, and come out on top in so many battles. Not my body, by what I stated." Yuriko frowned, and turned back around. "I wonder...why did you act the way you did on the Akina."

Datenshi's ears twitched a little when she heard the question. Thinking it over for a moment she gave a somewhat cryptic reply. "Memories..."

Staring back up at him was a three foot tall sprite with long green hair, and big golden eyes. She had a pale complextion, and a finger in her mouth as she stared up at Yaichiro. "You are here to see Yuriko-sama yes?"

"What memories?" Yuriko asked, opening the panel, and was now tinkering around inside.

"Of course he is! Why else would he be here Shii?" Ame asked from atop Yaichiro's head. "Memories of the past...Of past operations and of past failures." Datenshi replied.

Shii just blinked, her eyes still on him. "Ano...because he likes Yuriko-sama?"

"Dwelling on the past." Yuriko said aloud, not sounding mean about it. Rather simply stating a simple truth.

"But big sister already knew he was coming! And that would be just another reason for him to be here. Come on Shii thinkkkk!" Ame said as she grabbed out a small piece of candy, dropping it from Yaichiro's head right at Shii's.

Shii blinked, and fidgeted a little from the candy hitting her on the head. "Yuriko-sama wanted to speak to Yaichiro-sama."

Snickering a little Ame dropped another candy at Shii.

"The past is what teaches us, isn't it?" Datenshi replied.

Yaichiro stood there, confused. "Ano...Yukiro-Shoi and I had the same Commanding Officer, and this officer recommended that she talk to me...and you two should play nice, you know. You're sisters, right?"

"I am playing nice! I'm not throwing them, am I?" Ame asked in reply.

Yaichiro looked sternly at the girl...not VERY sternly, but still... "They're still hurting her head..."

"Our past mistakes." Yuriko corrected. Shii just winced, and closed her eyes. "Ame is my older sister. Shii is the baby out of all of the sprites." The little sprite nodded to this. "Yuriko-sama asked Shii to tell Yaichiro-sama to come to the...to the...mm...mul...multi...multi func... multi function bay on the port side."

As Yaichiro was about to comply, he got a telepathic message...

"...It seems that the Shoi is unable to meet me...and a Station Lockdown has commenced for Hotaru and her ships...I must return to Asuka. Please inform your highest ranked officer that they are in command."

Just then, MEGAMI rang out as Yaichiro left...

"All personnel, all personnel: the Hotaru station is now under lockdown. All crew are to remain in their designated areas. If you are not in your designated area, return to your quarters immidately. To all ships, you may not leave the station at this time. Remain where you are. I repeat, the station is now in lock down; all crew remain in your designated areas or make your way to your quarters. Ships may not leave."

Koharu sighed as she exited her quarters and made her way to the bridge. MEGAMI alerted her that Yaichiro had left the ship and was making his way back towards the Asuka. "Lovely, guess we're not going to get to conduct our new crew interview until this mess is resolved and the lock down is stopped. I hope to anything out there that Yuriko isn't involved in whatever breech caused this lock down."

She sent the young Taii a brief telepathic message, "Kage-Taii, Kakutama-Shoi requested for me to keep you company since she is preoccupied with other business in Hotaru. I am hoping that the lock down does not involve her, but anything can happen. Is there someone I could assist you with on whatever it was the Captain was discussing with you?"

ON: Bay 16/Asamoya

Yaichiro promptly replied to Koharu, unsure of if she could assist or not...
She wished to discuss ways to upgrade the ship, and ideas she had. Unless you are aware of her plans or the specifications of the ship, then I don't know if we can proceed without her...but how are you and the Asamoya's crew holding up? Is there anything you need? This was a bit of a surprise for all of us...

"Oh. I'm not really up to date with the Himiko's systems sadly," Koharu responded a little sheepishly. "Kakutama-Shio has informed me that there was a shooting that involved her and Tange-Shosho. But both of them are fine. We're holding up fine but everyone is a little confused I'll have to brief them on what's going on once I find out what details to release to the crew" She paused for a moment as the voice clicked. "Oh! You're the young man Yuriko was talking to the other day with the ducky!"

Yaichiro paused for a moment... Did a prisoner escape, or was it an assassination attempt? And...and yes. I possess a rubber duckie. It haps me concentrate. I do a lot of thinking about technology while in the bath...

Wasuremono-Shoi mentally shrugged before speaking again, "since it involves the Shosho, I would put KS on the notion of an assasination. I don't think it escaped anyone's notice that Yuriko and the Shosho were.. 'friendly' the past couple of days, they might've tried to take advantage of that. But this is just speculation, it could've been a mixture of both." she chuckled a little at the notion of a rubber ducky helping the man think. "Don't feel bad about the ducky, I miss my teddy bear, Mr. Bear. It's the little things that are the best."

A Mr. Bear, ne? Those are very common. Even I have a bear which the Taisho entrusted to me... Chiharu-Sama's Mr. Bear is famous because of her, so I'm sure you can find one...I can have one synthesized for you if you like. Yaichiro offered.

Koharu laughed and laughed hard for a minute or so before she calmed down enough to speak. "I didn't realize that all bears are Mr. Bear now. To me he was just, 'gold ol' Mr. Bear'. He's a trend now?! I really missed that in my debriefing, but I'm sure he'd be proud if he was still around somewhere."

Yaichiro seemed confused... Are you alright? You speak as if you had the ORIGINAL Mr. Bear.

Koharu laughed again as she leaned against a bulkhead in the corridor towards the bridge. "I'm fine, my memory keeps slipping on me but I did have the original Mr. Bear. I'm having a hard time not dwelling."

Yaichiro had paused for a moment, before communicating again. I see now...you have...Chiharu-sama's memory data.

"You could say that," Koharu replied back in a slow, even tone of voice.

I know what THAT can be like...how are you adjusting? Yaichiro said, with a note of...understanding?

"Poorly. I might as well have not changed my name. I keep remembering things that I can't forget without erasing who I am and don't have enough experience to really be someone else," Koharu sighed back as she finally arrived on her bridge and slumped down into her Captain's chair.

Well...I don't know if you're aware of this, but I was an illegal ST Resurrection...and I was brought back without my original having died. I'm almost a year old, so I do know what you're going through, minus the celebrity factor...it really helps to build new relationships and have new experiences, you see...Chiharu-sama will always be a part of you, but you needn't be in her shadow....I was copied from a rich kid who wanted for nothing, but I worked my way up from Santo Hei to where I am now, which is better off than my original has.

Koharu pursed her lips together and projected an image of herself nodding. "I appreciate the advice, I demoted myself when I saw Yui again. The universe is a weird place so I just feel displaced. I've been dead four years and everything I knew is different. I know I keep saying to myself that I can do this and be someone new but... I just feel so lost out here on my own."

The best advice I can give is not to worry about it...you see, as you meet new people and see new things, the experiences which make you who you are will alter you...you'll grow until you're someone who, while having the memories of Chiharu-sama, cannot be considered the same as her. It merely takes time, and the patience to let it run its own course. He said, trying to support the fellow copy.

Koharu smiled. " Thank you for the kinda words, I'll try to be patient. I guess it'd be easier without the nightmares but I can't bring myself to lock them out." The former Ketsurui sighed softly, she sounded well, lonely.

What nightmares? Yaichiro asked her...

"I was a POW during the 3rd Elysian war," Koharu said rather quietly and awkwardly.

I see...well...one of my crew is trained in psychotherapy. Maybe once this is all over, or if I can get special permission, I can have him give you a session?

"As much as I appreciate the gesture, I'm not entirely comfortable talking to a strange man about how the Elysians treated me," Koharu hugged herself as she stared absently ahead at her mostly empty bridge. "You're... a special case."

I see...Well, I'm not sure how nightmares stop...perhaps you have to come to terms with the fact that the war is over, since it ended so abruptly from your perspective...maybe you should research exactly how the war ended, even meet some Elysians in peaceful context? Yaichiro hypothesized...

"I read about how it ended but, I don't quite feel the desire to overcome my fears and actually meet an Elysian man, quite yet.But if we are here for too much longer, I meet be willing to consider talking with your crew member about it," Koharu sighed again.

I see...have you discussed this with your CO? He asked, concerned...

"Not the nightmares, she's got enough on her plate without my old drama plaguing her. Yuriko is a kind woman but my inability to tune out my past life hasn't effected my ability to work effectively. We have very few male crew members, so it helps," The Shoi said quietly again. "If it ever gets to that point, I'll lock out those memories to give myself the ability to continue working without them."

Well, that can work...but it might be better for your development if you work past them...otherwise, you won't grow as quickly into a new person. I had difficulties...but I never locked away my memories. Sure, I still fight with it to this day, but...I think it's made me stronger.

"I'll do my best. I think..I'll take you up on that offer for a new Mr. Bear on the condition he also has a rubber ducky," Koharu said shyly with a soft smile on her face.

No problem. I'll have one synthesized and bring it over....I have to attend to a few things here, but remember what I've said, okay? Yaichiro reminded her.

"I will, thank you, Yaichiro," Koharu responded gratefully "Thank you for listening."

No problem, Koharu-Shoi. Yaichiro said, before disconnecting.
