How convenient.PA Bay
Jax slid into the bay and shut the door behind him. Only when he heard it hiss closed did he take a moment to breath. He leaned against an armor rack and swallowed a couple times.
"Jesus..." he whispered to himself.
Power Armor Bay
The armor bay's intercom speaker came to life with the sound of Hanako's voice. "Suites-Hei, this is the captain. As soon as you can, I need you to type up a brief report that compiles the information that we know about the Kuvexians and the Rixxikor so far, that I can share with other task force ships, our command, and our advisor, Mr. Wazu. Do you copy?"
PO Stark and I are working on an identification profile for the Rixxicore colony vessels to aid in speeding up their location and identification. We should combine our efforts in organizing the search.

I am not certain what information will be useful in regards to these ships yet, so we should focus on what we can find out from the recorded data.
1)
We can work out the ship's propulsion type by watching the exhaust. If gravity is being manipulated we can just watch the ship's effects on the surrounding bodies. If they are using conventional propulsion their rate of acceleration should increase as they burn off fuel. If they are using Aether-fired engines then you will see the ship's exhaust remain constant along with its acceleration.
Once we have some images of the ships arriving in the area, we can compare their velocity and the mass and speed of their exhaust to determine how much mass they dropped off on the planet.
That gives us a good idea of the amount of supplies and colonists dropped off.
Observing that colony for the next few weeks should give us a good idea of their rate of growth.
2)
If we have a good scan of one of their people or if you broke one of their water-containers we could get a scan of the ratio of heavy-water to regular water. That should give us something to compare samples to, we might get lucky and find where they are sourcing their water.
Hull composition would be useful for the same reason, it might let us narrow down the search a bit further.
The same goes for their ship's engine exhaust, we should spectrograph it and compare it to what we see in other star systems. Again, we might get lucky and catch their engine exhaust long after their ships have moved on.
3)
We should also make a stop by Higaflan's surface. Those colonists will have useful HUMINT and their electronic devices will certainly have useful data. I would like to be able to talk to them in person. Do we have a translator ready for their language?4)
Current intelligence organizations may be a longshot, there are Nepleslians on Funky City who take deep space assignments who might know something about these guys and it is possible someone has come across similar ships before. We should check everything we have against existing data and try to use the intelligence you already have.- Wazu
Kuvexian Intel Report
As far as their species are concerned they have been described best as humanoid squid. While they do not appear to be much stronger than humans they move with quick, jerky motions and have extreme endurance. From what we could see from the alien pilot prior to his capture they have a skilled military force with that appears to mimic that of both Yamatai and Nepleslia. They possess firearms that fire a form of aether energy and possess a grenade that coats enemies in its blast radius with a substance similar to industrial strength rubber cement. Armor teams, note that these weapons will not appear as grenades to your AIES, set your computers to track all airborne objects coming for you to counter this. Also note that this substance will clog your reactor intake, causing a critical overheat failure. Use high heat to quickly remove 'glue'.
Kuvexian ships are equipped with shields that perform at a level no better then ours but their armor is twice as dense. Fighter pilots, your ships can out maneuver the enemy fighters but you must aim for weak points such as the cockpit. They also appear to have a shuttle designed for breaching blast doors using a weapon similar to the Nepleslian HPAR. Ship captains, they will heat up your hangar door and ram them open. THE ENEMIES CAN BOARD YOUR SHIP. Keep those shuttles at a distance.
The individual Kuvexian seems to have a belief(possibly religious) in something they call 'the Next Life'. This was said by a captured pilot shortly before he committed suicide. Regardless of whether this is a religious belief or reference to cloning technology each soldier is willing to fight to the death. In the event you take a captive screen them for hidden suicide devices, specifically search their teeth and remove by any means necessary. SAINT needs captives for information gathering purposes and has requested that we take as many live Kuvexian prisoners as possible.

Joto Hei Candon Howard Suites,
Is the Kuvexian body still in your possession?
