Muffin

I would suggest expanding the Ion drive, since using an air conditioner/filter as the main sourse of information isn't very reliable, since the filter isn't trying to fly.

Also I would suggest switching the primary and secondary roles of the camera/laser, since this is first and formost an observation Drone and not an auto-tack drone.

These are just suggestions, by the way, feel free to ignore them. It is after all, your machine.

Just a little note/highlight from the source you posted.

Just because one has low poer dosen't mean they all do. Those ion engines were designed with low, consistant output in mind to keep satalites in a precise orbit. It is not unreasonable to think that a more powerful one could be built with much greater technology.

It's not unreasonable to think that Muffin's ion drive can produce over 3,500 times the thrust of SMART-1's ion drive and be only 5.5% as massive?

Technology is getting smaller all the time. It is completely reasonable to think that over the course of thousands of years an Ion drive (which is actually very small as it is little in common with the rocket type) can be designed which is powerful enough to lift a small object. SMART-1 is NOT a good example of Ion drives because it is not intended to provide a lot of thrust but rather a low powered constant stream and because it is a rocket, not an Ion fan like what is used by the sharper image.

And you want to tell me that you can belive in wormholes, in the CFS, in Zuesaum, in PARADOX (as no one has mentioned any objections to WARMS which is the copy of said device) and ect but you can't belive that someone can make an Ion engine even when such devices already exsist today?

Wait...SMART-1, which uses a multimillion dollar ion drive built by a federal space program to propel itself through space, is not a good example of an ion drive...but a fan that was designed for consumer use, can barely blow a ribbon, and costs a couple hundred dollars...is?

so I suppose an aerosol can capable of spraying Essia from Mishhu no Iori is plausible, too? I mean, aerosol cans exist today...

Again, SMART-1 was not designed for this kind of activity. Anyone who has seen one of the ionic breezes in action knows it can put out a breeze on par with fans of the same size and because that one is not a rocket it is more akin to what the muffin has on it.

That is simply off topic. I'm trying to get approved a device which has a basis in fact and has counterparts which are used today and people are choosing to debate the plausability of it where in other cases they turn a blind eye to Zeusiaum or Warms or Yarvex ect.

Why not just give it an anti-grav drive that shifts its focus to scoot the thing around?

If it's not apparent, Uso likes to be "A head of the Curve." That and he never uses established technologies for his inventions. As he said before.

Uso Tasuki said:
The second deals with 'why do you need new tech' for which I answer 'because it isn't there yet'

Despite the fact most of the technology he makes his invetions with are far to "in theory science" then the established technology of the SARP.

He precives no celing on technology, though that is not true since there is always a level were current tech can't reach till a breakthrough into next gen tech. Sadly, sofar that has not happened in the RP, since most new devices are generally either an updated current model, or a reapplication of something totaly different.

I did not want to have complicated devices on the muffin specifically because it was intended to be a mass produced drone. If the Ion engine is going to hold up approval I'm going to be switching it to a rotating fan.
