Note: Mikomi means "Hope." Amenonuhoko is a legendary spear a Japanese god used to split the islands of Japan.
 
Little correction, Wes. Amenonuhoko (trans. heaven spear) was the jeweled spear Izanagi and his sister Izanami dipped into the primordial waters of creation. When they pulled it out, the drops of water falling from the spear formed the first land masses (the islands of Japan) and that's where the heavenly duo made their homes.

Just had a little too much time on my hands while I was on this road trip. :D
