SANDRA REPORT - NELLRUN SYSTEM
After months of difficult precision strikes, diplomatic negotiations, and a deep reliance on the First Expeditionary Fleet's SAINT Officers the Nellrun System has been liberated from Kuvexian Holdouts. The successful completion of operations at Nellrun was officially declared this morning by Taisho Motoyoshi-Yamada Ayano in a post-debrifing press communication with SANDRA. The original mission expected was originally only projected to take weeks but due to extremely well-dug-in Kuvexian holdout forces, the mission was extended by months. Nellrun is an Independent System located to the galactic south of the Wazu Corridor and was under occupation by the military of the Interstellar Kingdom of Kuvexia since YE 41. Similar to the Miyamae System, the Independent Colonies located on Nell have been restored to their pre-war status. Although not under the flag of the Yamatai Star Empire, the citizens of Nell, which are mostly farmers and merchants are grateful for the Empire's commitment to ending the illegal occupation of their world. Possible diplomatic ties may be further forged in the future.
The Tokyo Expeditionary Battlegroup is reportedly finishing up operations in the system, with the intent of moving on to their next assignment which has not been disclosed to SANDRA for the sake of national security.
