Abandoned Submission [Nepleslia] The Pack

This suggestion has been closed. Votes are no longer accepted.
Pleased avoid the use of forced line breaks for lists in wiki articles. It goes against the wiki's style guidelines. You can use bullet points or an ordered list instead.

I've verified that the WIP link in the OP is working.

Is there a mighty need to use a real life Lithuanian mechanized brigade's flag for these guys? I know it's creative commons and a free image license, or whatever, but maybe you could use the elements from the flag that inspire you and come up with something that's uniquely SARP — or have one of our many cool photoshop wizards whip something up for ya. It'd make the submission that much better and do a lot to avoid confusion with real life military units (right now it's kind of like finding a creative commons EGA and saying it's some SARP unit's insignia).

It would also be cool to see some prose between the "Ranks" header and the list of ranks, as it is wiki style. Perhaps something that details roles that certain ranks typically fulfill (grunts, squad leaders, platoon officers, etc.), or even the lack of such organizational duties.

I would get art, or have someone on here get art but I have no money x_x

I'm a student who can barely pay his rent so I can't buy a £20 artwork for each page sadly, otherwise I'd be out of rent for next quarter.

You don't need to spend money. Something you made yourself would be fine. It's a flag, not something complex like a car. There's also a lot of dudes here, including me, who have art skills on SARP and may be willing to help. Maybe we can come up with something similar that isn't in IRL usage?

If the flag situation and all that is cleared, then uh...

FM approved.

I may expect some further depth added in the future for things like their ranks and expansion on some things, but otherwise it's fine for now.

Hello! Let's see if this submission meets the requirements for inclusion in Star Army's lore...

[ X ] 1. The destination URL should be a page in the appropriate namespace and titled lower_case_with_underscores
[ ] 2. The article is in the appropriate format and article template
[ X ] 3. The article follows our wiki style guidelines, including: No forced line breaks, text after each section header, etc.
[ X ] 4. The article is easily read and free of errors in spelling and grammar

[ X ] 7. Images in the article are hosted on Star Army's wiki and sourced responsibly (contact Wes privately if there's a concern)
[ X ] 8. The article is original and doesn't contain copy-pasted content from other articles.
[ X ] 9. The article complies with Star Army's rules in terms of damage ratings, speed limits, etc.
[ X ] 10. The Faction Manager(s), if applicable, have posted approval for this article in this thread.

Here's some fixes this article still needs:

1. I changed some things around to meet the faction template. Can I have you fill in the empty fields there with something? You don't need more than a line or two under things like information or treaties. You can easily just leave it at 'They haven't contacted any major factions'
2. I think how this is written is very approachable. You don't mention any of the near magic stuff so that is always something we can worry about later. I think once you fill in the remaining parts we can approve this without waiting on anything else. Naturally the approval only extends to this article.

When these fixes are made, please post a reply here so I can re-check the article. Thank you!

@Ethereal Please respond to this thread so we can finish our review. Thanks!

May I have a status update on this please, @Ethereal? I don't mean to be rude, but if you don't reply to this thread within 3 days (by September 2nd, 2018) I'm going to mark the following submissions as "Abandoned" and move them to the Rejected or Abandoned Submissions sub-forum with the stipulation that they can be re-submitted in the future.

I'm extending the deadline by two weeks - until September 29th - to give @Ethereal enough time to work on the numerous Agarthan-related articles that have been submitted.

Edit: Changed from 19th to 29th, as I apparently can't math. >.<;
