Nepleslian Fleet plan?

Proposed Fleet Manifest

My own projects for them include:
Axis Class: Mobile Fleet Command Carrier
Cyclops Artillery ship majority automated.
Overlord class: Command/Control ship/AWACS(?).
Mythos Class Super Dimensional Fleet Destroyer: (Combo battleship, fleet destroyer, & carrier)
Reaper class: escort with folding strike wings.
Warhorse class Heavy Transport (Military Variant)
Red Hill class Light Transport (Military Variant)
SuperJudge Class Heavy Cruiser
Spacelord Class Destroyer
Warlock(or Odin) Class Dreadnaught
StarViper Class Fighter
Merlin Class Bomber/marine transport

A Fleet Destroyer Class, which features primarily a beam weapon with a wide arc, capable of destroying a large number of enemy ships. Further more, have it equipped with fighter bays that retract in to the ship, ala Battlerstar Galactica.

A Mobile Fortress ship, cabable of transporting a small number of conquest battleships and smaller ships.

I only seem to be lacking a gunship and the DD4 Design here.

I think we're trying to get away from the whole "RAGHRAGH defeated 29 ships in one shot" kind of combat situation and making it so that fleet engagements involve a smaller amounts of ships.

You really, REALLY need to get an OK from Tom on this. And Tom needs to say that he's given you as much. You're talking about a major restructuring that's coming from essentially nothing.

Are you going to RP some, too?

Razeal, I'll be honest.

Regardless of if Tom approves or not, of Wes trying to be accomodating to newcomers and allowing you to feel involved, I don't think you're ready for this.

This isn't about your aptitude for starship making. You seem to pride yourself on that and I'm not about to tell you that you're no good. However, the Star Army Roleplay has a flavor of its own, which you have, so far, failed to capture. I don't think you will anytime soon too.

Here's what I recommend: make a character. Don't make him based off your want to create a starship builder and just resort to making the normal grunt crewmember just out of training. Get on to making a decent character bio and get yourself on a ship. Start roleplaying with people - spend months at it. Read what other people have invested in the site as well, both in terms of written stories and fictious subject matters from what questions were asked before to technology debates and that sort of thing.

You won't be able to capture the feel of the setting in just a couple of weeks being here. You will screw up. You will make mistakes and people will mercilessly tear you to ribbons for them - especially if they are the glaring type. But you will, with enough interest, be able to progress and understand not only your point of perspective on the SARP, but also that of the others whom have invested themselves in the site. Then, you will have a much better idea of what you will have been dealing with, and as an added bonus, you'll have participated in our community too.

Then, you will properly be armed to make stunning ship designs. I'm sure. It will take effort, but if you put in the time and interest, you will make it. But this isn't am instant-gratification thing - you need to invest the interest in the setting to get that far. That's what I suggest you do from here on in.

I appreciate your ambition, but I do agree.

You should design a scientist or something who works for NAMs and get a feel for the world. We have another character, Melchoir, who's in charge right now, and he's also a tech-minded person, so you can have some great JPs together.

But right now, let's get some stuff established before we go writing about fleet restructuring.

I'd really like to see a fleet plan, though. It'd help map out what ships are doing what for Nepleslia's military.
