Notes:

Standard issue equipment and starting equipment for new characters, no artwork given that I'm working on multiple things at once right now in getting the other standard equipment written up for approval. I will get artwork for this item in due time, but right now it has none.

This item is basically meant to make it easier for the Shukaren and Myleke to see during daytime operations.

What exactly do they do? How do they help the nocturnal see better in daylight.
 
That's correct, though trying to explain the science behind that is a bit difficult, though I can try if you'd want :)
 
Need some idea of what they do, is is particular wavelengths that hurt them, or is it the amount of visible light? Does it use physical lenses to filter or does it use layers of LCD's to do the filtering.
 
The amount of visible light is what hurts their eyes, which is why they need those goggles in order to do things during daylight hours.

Made that change to the 'abouts' section.
