overall a good article. one critical piece of data is missing. you do not list the damage rating modifier for the shield, which based upon the article would be two values, one for energy weapons and one for the others
 
Actually that was an oversight on my part, I was trying to figure out 'what' the values would actually be and pretty much completely forgot about that when I posted this articles x,x
