Approved Character New Character: Quincy Clemens

The bio looks fine, I've noticed that his current rank is P2C, but thats fine because of his combat experience ICly and that OOCly you've RPed on this site before. The jury will be out concerning his orphan status (Generally considered cliche here). Though, I would like to read more about his mom considering the impact she had on his life and her purported skills.

Will defer to the character reviewers.

You know -- I originally had the character as having missing just his father then raised by his mother and sister. But I had a hard time justifying his more hardened personality with so much supportive feminine influence in his upbringing. In my head, his father died when he was little and his mother died not too long ago. The deaths combined affected and increased his bond to his sister. I purposely left the reasons behind both deaths alone as to give room character development (A fancy way of me saying I wanted to reserve the right to amend their cause of death before it became character canon)

That being said -- I can easily change several things:

1) Bring the mother back. Of course, I'd like to paint her a bit in the history so we can get a better understanding of Quincy.
2) Keep her buried. HOWEVER, explain her death and maybe.
3) Raise them both! Not my favorite choice, as I'd be losing anchors that explains his personality.
4) Oh...and I can change his rank if so needed. While I've RPed here before, I still might not have the "street creds" for the rank bump, but my thoughts that the military action he did see gave me a chance to explore his cybernetics and personality development.

I'm really flexible on all of it, so let me know what needs to be done to get him approved! Thanks!

I would recommend No.2 if its that important to your ideal character. Most role playing characters have no parents just so they could avoid referring to them, but it appears here they wouldn't be very far from this character's mind even if they aren't around anymore.

As for rank, I'm very tempted to have you change to P3C so that the current players could have their way with you, but then most of them aren't that kind of people, heh!

So tl;dr, write more about of his mom. If she was really that hard boiled, I doubt she'll teach him the finer points of a Yamataian tea ceremony instead of performing a double tap.

This character seems like your standard brutish grunt. Perfect. I would've liked a little more physical detail... but I'll let it slide. It's good enough, if not at the bottom of the barrel. I see no one else bringing up any issues, sooo...

This character is approved for IC usage.
