New Star Army Theme

Alright, so I'm making a new theme for Star Army.

So here's the question: If the Star Army site and forums could look like anything, what you you like them to look like?

Sky blue?
Pink with lots of Sakuras?
Space and stars?

I'm thinking something lighter for a change, with lots of cuteness.
 
Sky Blue, I love that colour.

Not sure about lot's of Sakura's....

Maybe have the map of showing in the background... just an idea.
 
Pastels and lots of them! No sakura though please. That's a litte too cliche, even for me ^^;
 
Hrm, the problem with getting rid of the back is that a lot of images are going to need to be modified.
 
Anything that's easy on the eyes is fine by me. A black background for text, like we had for almost every theme so far, is probably a good idea.

Well this "StarArmy" theme background, is seriously different. I can't really comment now and say if I like it or don't. All I can say is that its.... Different in a good way.

What I feel like when looking at this is that it has been done before, by other sites. Of course not like this as this is SA, but I mean the general outlook.

You could sort of solve the image problem by putting a style for embedded images to have thin borders...

On the other hand, I like where it seems to be going - though I wouldn't exactly call it 'cutesy' yet... >.>
 
I find reading on a black background far easier, and the one we have is good. However having both can't do any harm.

So when will this one be put in to play?

I am using it at the mo. to get used to it.....feels strangeish.

Though I do really like it now.
 
Well, once it's finished and the site is ready. If I do set it as the default theme, I'll probably want to have the site of the site matching.
 
My mistake, I'm apparently using Solaris too. What I meant was the old one with the black background and the stars. I think Wes put this one in as Solaris, which is why I remember thinking "why'd he get rid of the other one?" But yeah, I'll just be sticking with this one. The new one looks ok, though.
