- PNUgen Corporation's headquarters in Pagoda no Uesueya, Yamatai, will remain closed for business until futher notice, after it was damaged during a raid by Star Army of Yamatai forces. The Star Army refused to comment on the results of the raid or on what they were looking for. About 120 workers were taken prisoner, and hundreds more were injured or killed, as well as Taisa Ketsurui Hanako being sent to the hospital in a coma.
- Nepleslia's newly-formed senate has passed a law that will create an organization to track all weapons on the planet. Nepleslia is known for an unusually high rate of violent crime, mostly in its poorer slum areas around the outskirts of major cities. It remains to be seen what power, if any, this "senate" actually has and how this law will be enforced, when most of the population of the planet is involved with one of Nepleslia's rainbow of color-coded organizations.
- Ketsurui Flet Yards announced plans for the design and construction of a Yuuko-class gunboat, a small ship that could attack larger vessels and ferry a small amount of power armor around. The Yuuko, named after the Mindy pilot Kessaku Sakai Yuuko, will be cramped inside but will include at least four living areas, fleet officials said.
- Emperor Uesureyu is considering once again retiring. That's not all he's considering. In fact, he's been talking about disbanding the interplanetary senate of Yamatai, and replacing it with a democratic voting system. Critics say he's caving in to the demands of radicals, while proponents say it would be a step in the right direction.
