Neshaten Information Network [NIN] Military arrests, and executes, three trespassers.

Levia, Vectes Military City

The screen flashed for several moments, the logo of NIN - Neshaten Information Network - rotated slowly in the background as dramatic music played.

Then, the logo faded outward and a Daur appeared standing behind a desk and looking at a monitor. "Welcome folks," she said and gave a bow toward the camera. "I am to bring you news on a daring, maybe even foolish, attempt by three indivisuals to break into a military armory."

"At 3300 this morning, the Navy received a tip that three indivisuals belong to the Gang known as the 'Sisha' were going to breka into the armory here in Vectes. A daring move, considering Vectes is a military city."

"Around 3340, the military were alerted by motion sensors to intruders on the property. When soldiers arrived to arrest the two, a gun-fight erupted between the gang and the military. This fight, which you can see here in security footage," the Daur motioned toward the monitor, the image changed to fullscreen to give viewers a better look.

The footage showed three Daur, one of them placing an item up against the fence and another started to cut into it. Once there was an opening, the three came through and instantly triggered a motion sensor which caused several lights to suddenly flash on, blinding one of the Daur who went to the ground to shield their eyes.

The other two, however, didn't seem to stop as they raised what appeared to be weapons and shot out the flood-lights and made their way into the armory. A group of soldiers could be seen on the otherside of the fence, with one motioning toward the three intruders.

Then the camera pans to follow the intruders and flicks to a different camera to get a better angle. From here, the three could be seen standing in front of a large warehouse with a warning sign on it.

As one begins to pry open the door, a group of soldiers appears and another firefight starts up. Amongst the sounds of weapons fire viewers would also hear the whine of a starfighters gravity engine as he flew over. Plasma marks appeared in the ground in a row heading toward the intruders, but stopped just short of hitting the warehouse.

One of the intruders fell when they took a hit to the shoulder, the others try to break into the warehouse but the military is shown swarming them and shoving them to the ground. They are hauled up onto their knees, as a My'leke and Daur officer approuch and begin to question the three of them.

Voices can only vaguely be heard, but not enough to get a general idea of what is being discussed. When the discussions were over the Daur waved a hand toward the soldiers who raised their rifles and executed the trespassers.

The monitor goes blank, then a Laibe officer appears along with the two other officers in the footage.

"Thank you for joining us Sah's," said the reporter with a smile. "Some of our viewers are probably wondering why you ordered those three executed, instead of being arrested."

There was a bit of silence before the Daur officer spoke up. "The reason is because they broke onto military property, attempted to break into a storehouse full of military hardware, and then opened fire on naval personnel."

"We have signs on the fences, that clearly state that 'trespassers will be shot'. They knew the risks, they suffered the consequences," said the My'leke officer, who was laying down on a mat with their tail wrapped around their front.

The reporter thought for a moment. "I see," she said - it did seem she was stuck on what further to say. "Do you have any messages for our viewers?"

"Yea," started the Laibe. "If you see a sign that states you will be shot for violating that property, don't violate that property."
