"In a special delivery made in person by Laj Vinross Yu and Marrisa Cranker, the two CEOs were intended to have an introductory meeting with the Head Administrator at the time, Cassefin Montreal to discuss a possible joint-operation beneficial to both parties. Unfortunately, a surprise attack by a group of pirates, seeking to reap the benefits of the several important parties present on the research facility, cut the meeting short."
"The Cirrus Research Station had been on the outskirts of the Nepleslian Colonial Expanse, conducting new weapons research at the time. With military response to the area stretched thin, the pirates were able to disable the Cirrus Station's defensive weaponry and board the facility. Luckily, the would-be kidnappers were no match for the Cirrus Station Security forces, as well as Vinross Yu-Cranker's own personal security force, the Uniques."
The anchorwoman's voice suddenly halted, the audio tuning in to match with the Vinross Yu-Cranker representative talking on the screen.
"We are very grateful to both Head Administrator Cassefin Montreal and her brave men and women who helped thwart the attempted kidnapping of Laj Vinross Yu and Marrisa Cranker. Although Mr. Vinross Yu sustained minor injuries during the attack, we want to assure everyone that he is recovering from his injuries and will be up and running in the following weeks to come.
